IT was one winner from two on Friday with the nap a non-runner.
I had a 0.25pt loss on the day and October is now 3.76pts down. Today I'm putting up a huge each-way double and have added reasoning.

Ascot 3.50
Recoletos might not jump off the page at people with the likes of Cracksman, Barney Roy, Brametot, Highland Reel and others in this race but there is plenty to like about this vastly overpriced French horse. He was sent off 4-1 second favourite for the French Derby and was only beaten one length by Brametot.
Recoletos has also never lost on ground soft or worse and Ascot today will be soft or worse. He does need to improve to win but the conditions are a leveller and the 20-1 price is too big.
Market Rasen 5.05
Wishmaker runs in the NH Flat race, there are a lot of unknowns with so many debutants but with Wishmaker we have a horse I have seen personally and I liked what I saw.
This well-bred Ravens Pass gelding has been working well at home and should be ready first time out. The 7-1 still available still looks value as he is quietly fancied by the yard.

Got to say Churchill is a massive price today, ground won’t be a problem and his Guineas form is the best in the race, his last win when beating Thunder Snow is also top form, his last two runs have just proved connections should have gone to the Derby with him as he clearly easily stayed
I still have concerns about the 1m distance but today’s going is a leveller, there are others in the race and I really like Beat The Bank as a horse but Churchill is the best value horse in the race when you think 5/1 is available in a place and at 1/5 odds eachway that must make him a free bet

One thing busstop ive always wondered with you is why do you only bet on NH racing and not flat racing? I actually have a friend who does the opposite but thats only because he doesnt like seeing the horses fall over jumps.
Some discipline for you to not bet when theres no jumps meetings on! Dont think i could do that
Citizen. Always followed NH since being a kid Uncle used to own horses and got me involved took me point to points
Just find it more exciting than flat and also think the form over the jumps usually stands up better than flat .
I do have a bet on the flat now and then followed some of the guys on here in the past.Even go the odd flat meeting with mates but much prefer jumps
