AFTER Blond Me ran a disapointing race and Clemmie was a non runner it was 2pts lost on Sunday.

September is now 8.97pts down but the run by Magical makes her look a definite Oaks horse. She ran a cracker over a distance shorter than ideal and the Moyglare result confirms that Clemmie is Coolmore's number one filly for the 1000 Guineas. Clemmie looks like running in the Cheveley Park next.

Well done all weekend winners and post your Monday tips and chat below.

Brighton 3:55

Send Up has been beaten 53 lengths in three races and only beaten 6 horses out of 28 rivals so it's not surprising the bookies have overpriced her. She steps up nearly four furlongs here and that's the key to her. This 3yo Filly by Fastnet Rock and out of Briolette is bred to be better at this distance and she races here on a mark of 58 which is right for her form but way too low for what she is bred to do. Market support would be good as the Sir Mark Prescott yard are hard to predict but this looks a plot job all day long.

Johnb's Monday Tip

  • Brighton 3:55
  • Send Up 7-2 NAP/NB skybet (double stake)

    LISTED SUCCESS FOR CAMELOT

In-form Camelot enjoyed a first-crop Listed winner on Sunday when Alounak (2c Camelot-Awe Struck, by Rail Link) scored in Dusseldorf.

Jean-Pierre Carvalho sent out the juvenile to take the Listed Grosser Preis von Engel & Volkers Dusseldorf – 93rd Junioren-Preis.

Bred by Framont Ltd and SCEA Des Prairies, the colt sold for €120,000 at Arqana in August.

    weird ?
will have a dabble top 3, top weight and no run since last year only reason im not backing the win.

look out for nathaniels offspring running over hurdles over the next couple of years.
alan king got one called Nathan who could be decent if taking to jumps !!!!
had 3 flat runs for king coming 2nd 1st 1st in low grade stuff, but im sure he was bought with a view to hurdling.
if he wins the triumph hurdle remember this post.
more chance of my hair growing back more likely….haha

on the topic of triumph hurdle guitar pete goes in the 3-35 perth.
this horse once came 3rd in the triumph hurdle and won a grade 1 at Aintree a month later when trained by sarah hughes.
has since moved to nick Richards and is having a dabble at chasing after regressing over hurdles.
I woildnt dimiss him completely at 9-2, though theo won so easily last time he could be hard to peg back

Knowing what the Prescott yard are like it looks like today isn’t going to be the day for Send Up, I was hoping we would see money for the well handicapped, well bred filly but nothing has come, with 35 mins till off time there is still time to see a move

The money never came, maybe it was only us on but Send Up Got Up, she took time to get going but once she got to within half a length she looked like winning, 15/2 cracking price
These are the types of bets members of Johnb Racing can look forward to when breeding our own

Wish I could say I was on John b, but sadly wasn’t.
Great tip and price and a candidate for ride of the month from Morris.
The horse was a handful and I’m sure a lot of jockeys would have eased up and coasted in for a place, but fair play to Luke.
Sort if restores your confidence in this low level stuff after seeing that.
