I must admit I am not too unhappy that Ayr is off as there is a lot of good racing on Saturday, especially at Newbury where I have selected three horses.
Newbury 2:15
Dylan Mouth could so easily have been my nap on Saturday, he has bigger plans this season with connections looking towards a Melbourne Cup run but a lot depends on how he runs at Newbury. Last time out he won the Old Newton Cup and won it quite convincingly and in his earlier days he was a multi Group One winner in Italy.
Newbury 2:50
Invincible Army is the clear form pick here as his price suggests, in six runs he has just been out the first two on one occasion and that was the Group Two July Stakes. His last run was a win in the Group Two Sirenia Stakes at Kempton and it was an impressive run, it's not the strongest Mill Reef with Harry Angel winning last year and Ribchester and Log Out Island first and second in 2015. Invincible Army does have conditions to suit here and connections are confident.
Newbury 3:25
Euginio is the right choice for me but it pains me to go against Teodoro, Racing Club members know what I mean by that. Euginio still looks to be improving and while he only won by a neck in the soft ground at Doncaster, I feel he is better on this ground. The distance is perfect for him and the course should suit him, Ryan Moore takes over in the saddle and I think he has a big chance at big odds. I won't be backing Teodoro but if it was a selection with my heart then Teodoro would have got the vote easily.
Wolverhampton 6:10
Newstead Abbey stands out as a horse getting back to his best but on a lowly handicap mark. In 2015 he won off a mark of 95 and even run on a mark of 99 but has since dropped severely. Today he runs on a mark of 69 and has come back to form in his last three runs, even as a seven year old he can improve again at a course he clearly thrives at with three wins and a nose second from five runs here.

ian williams and manuel fernandes have had 2 winners that i know of since yday and they’re faves in the last at wolves, 3/1.
actually he has had 3 in the last 2 days including a winner at wolves tonight, 2 of the winners are owned by the same of JUMPING AROUND.
