Dubawi Warrior was horrendous there are no other words to describe the performance at Hamilton. Strange for him to run that bad with William Haggas having such a strong record at the Scottish track and surely something was amiss as he was eased down when passed by the entire field. Wasted journey on the well-backed favourite.
Chelmsford 6:45 – Imperial Ace 8/1 (0.5pt EW Paddy/WilliamHill)
There is a couple of Class 1 races at Deauville on Tuesday, but one looks very tricky and the other has a short-priced favourite who should run away with it so I think it's best to leave that alone. Tuesday in Britain and Ireland is very poor other than the Class 3 race at Chelmsford which is a decent race with some value to be found.
I couldn't be backing the favourite at the odds he's currently at. He ran well at Ascot, didn't quite stay the 12f, but was bang there with a few furlongs to go. The form of that race has been a mixture of good and bad. Some of the horses have franked the form, others haven't and I think at the price and off his handicap mark of 94 I think he has it all to prove. The one I liked is Imperial Ace who might be much better on the AW compared to turf. He is 2/3 on the synthetic surfaces opposed to his record of 0/3 on turf. He was beginning to look exposed on turf with two below-par efforts at the start of this year, but he returned to form after the gelding operation and his handicap mark now sits off a rating of 88. It looked like he needed much further than a mile last time out at Ascot, he was pushed alone and did his best work entering the final furlong so stepping up to 10f for the first time on AW should be ideal.
His form as a juvenile has been franked a lot. He beat Roaring Legend and Regal Empire as a 2yo and the latter-named horse has improved no end and is now rated 91 and will go up even further having won off that mark on the weekend just gone.
At the prices I thought he looked like a nice EW price, alongside Greatgadian who was the only other horse I thought looked overpriced, so if you're backing him I can see why.

French derby winner ace impact is 2-9 favourite but that doesn’t look a particularly strong classic
Runner up big rock was turned over on Sunday by gosdens inspiral.
3rd marhaba ya sanafi flopped on sunday.
4th feed the flame did follow up by winning a group 1 and is a horse to follow this autumn.
5th Epictetus followed up by finishing 13th in the Hampton court at Ascot.
Victoria road was mediocre in 5/6 furlong races until this time last year when upped to 7+ when he reeled off 4 wins including beating blue rose cen here giving that 3 pounds and then winning the breeders cup juvenile in yankland.
Hasn’t ran since November which is a worry but I’m sure Ryan Moore who rode this the last twice wouldn’t be here if I’d didn’t have a chance.
He is entered in 2 races at York next Wednesday so hopefully isn’t using this as a prep race, I’ve gone each way just in case but I think this has a chance of winning over this distance.

I kid Sir and on a serious note, how would do you do that for USA lesser courses in America like Mountaineer and races of the sort?
I only see them for big races and early meetings so i compare prices by flicking through my different accounts but i often miss a price by the time I do that and trying to decide.

Although he’s entered in the Qipco Champion Stakes on 23rd of October and Breeders Cups would be a sharp 2 week turnaround and he couldn’t defend his crown I’d think as it was Juvenile Mile he won and he’s all grown up now.
Along with beating Blue Rose Cen he beat some real nice horses in USA race!
In fact think I’ve just talked myself into a touch larger bet Elvis!

After taking ‘Golden Shot’ last time he won and noting him down I’ve got him in an Acca at 11/10 today
Runs 4pm Nottingham and NO best odds for the Acca but anyway just glad i left the single out
Trying to find a reason why he’s out to 11/4?
He won last race won by 27 lengths (I’ve noted down around 20 lengths””?) and very reasonable penalty so bar the competition being bit better and larger field I think I’ll take 11/4. ***+
