SUN POWER (3.10) has settled in well for new trainer Jane Chapple-Hyam and is one to keep onside at Lingfield.
The four-year-old has previous course form for Richard Hannon and was always prominent when scoring at Wolverhampton, lowering the colours of consistent El Hombre and Lomu. The four-year-old should remain very competitive off a 5lb higher mark.
BOMBASTIC (3.45) was a well-held third behind Album (winner again since) at Wolverhampton but showed his preference for Lingfield when beaten a head by A Sure Welcome before Christmas. Odds of around 5-1 are on the generous side.
COME ON TEDDY (3.35) faces 12 rivals in the Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle at Warwick but a bold show can be expected if able to repeat the form of his victory over On The Blind Side at Cheltenham in December when powering more than five lengths clear up the hill. David Pipe’s Kepagge has had a wind op and didn’t fare too badly when fourth to Stimulating Song at Cheltenham in November.

i wouldn’t consider LE BREUIL home and hosed by any stretch. he has effectively, only ever won one chase. yes a better race than this at the festival, and yes, he should go close but he was only 5th in this race last year, yes he carries 13lbs less, but he was 17 lengths behind captain chaos, and will only be 3lbs better this time round. was due to run in the welsh national, and won on soft so plenty of positives too but not one i’d go overboard on. good luck

I cant believe the owners want to take AF on tbh but fair play if he does run. He will be carrying 12st, on heavy ground taking on AF on a right handed track giving him 11lbs. mm annoying, nothing worse than picking a horse which is purposely non-tried, is what i hate most about racing and yes 10s to 20s five minutes before the off, he was 1 ahead of fav, let him make his move, can say a terrible ride but he is under instructions not to win, not sure how anyone can deny that.
