MONTATHAM (3.25) is clearly of interest in the 7f handicap at Musselburgh with William Haggas sending him a long way north.
His three-year-old won at Beverley at the end of August and he gets the nod over dual course winner Tribal Warrior and the very consistent Barriston The Bold. William Hill have put up the wrong price at 11-2 and that's an ew steal.
NOT ON YOUR NELLIE (1.20) is the right favourite for the opening nursery handicap, while HOW BIZARRE (1.50) runs the track very well and will make them all go from the front in the 7f handicap. He handled softish ground well when third to Rux Ruxx over course and distance and may be too good for likely favourite Ollivander.
TARBOOSH (2.20) is a strong fancy for the Conditions Stakes. Phil Midgley sends out lots of winners at the East Lothian track and Tarboosh, a winner at Beverley recently, was touched off on the nod by Archer’s Dream at Leicester six days ago. Third horse Copper Knight is 2lb better off but Tarboosh is readily preferred.
ZESHOZ (4.30) is a big ew price in the concluding amateur riders’ handicap and he knows his way around Musselburgh blindfolded. He was pipped a nose by Lagenda in early September and should run his race, despite an awkward wide draw. William Hill are going four places.
