It was a disappointing day, My main selection Shadowfax drifted from 4s out to 9s as the eventual winner was backed well in. When I saw the drift I knew I was probably in trouble and the performance showed just that.
Shadowfax went quite hard tracking the pacesetter and went home quite early and was very quickly swallowed up.
My double was unfortunately let down by silverlode who I thought at the start had a great opportunity to go win the race given the short-priced favourite missed the break and was first off the bridle however he too found nothing and ended up finishing mid-division.
Tomorrow's racing is very poor and I'll be honest I struggled to find much worth sticking up although I've narrowed it down to one.
Chelmsford 6:00 – Cool Lightning 5/4
Cool Lightning I think has a great opportunity to get off the mark at the third time of asking.
She, unfortunately, found just one too good on each of her 2 runs but certainly sets a respectable standard and in my opinion the one they've all to beat.
She was sent off a short-priced favourite on debut so you would assume she was showing signs of ability at home. She was also well supported on her second start but again finished second losing out by roughly a head.
Normal progression should see her bang there and hopefully in the winners.

Another horse i am looking forward to see running is a HDB horse he is also entered for the Cheltenham Bumper and that’s Barry The Butcher .sold for 350 thousand euro .He coasted home by 10 lengths hitting the line very strong .Expecting big things from this lad too

YIMOU is interesting, rather decently hcapped and an IVORY taking her first ride for her father/relation. youd like to think hes primed it for her but theres not much romance in racing (besides sore point and busstop)…
on peak form this horse was a CD 2nd around 14 mobths ago off 82, its running tonight off 61, the concern is it might be better over 5f, which it has the option of taking in the 11th, its an ew price so a small bet just in case perhaps without analysing rivals we can never go in too heavy.
