Newmarket 3:45
Elarqam looks like he could be one of the better Frankel colts and is out of Attraction the double 1000 Guineas winner both here and Ireland. On debut he won by nearly four lengths and the two horses from that race “third & fourth” that have raced since have both won to frank the form. This is a big step up in class to a Group 3 but there is a massive amount of improvement in him. Elarqam is a genuine Group horse in the making and he ticks very nearly every box that a once raced horse can tick. The odds are shortening and it's no surprise, he looks good physically, this is a very strong bet to start the Newmarket meeting.
Cheveley Park Stakes (Saturday)
Clemmie is the standout horse here, she has a break to come back from after missing a couple of engagements because of the soft ground. Not much I can say that I haven't said before except that I fancy her even stronger now for next season's Guineas. Connections have confirmed she is their number one and she should prove it on Saturday.

Also if you delve further, jet master won a novice hurdle at this meeting back in 2011 too..
Dakota grey is an odd one in that he has pppp in recent form but has completed every time going right handed with 1 win and 3 second place finishes, goes well on heavy, dropped 5 pound’s since comeback run recently and now 22 pounds below his highest rating, and jet master isn’t at his best on heavy with his 7 wins coming on good/ soft at worse.
Given your recent form I can’t ignore that so a forecast might be the order of the day.

Hadn’t considered that about right handed tracks although 3 of them were at Carlisle but it’s a valid point. So is the conditions but I still think JM has a favs chance. He’s the only c&d winner half of his wins have come after a break so goes well fresh and having won the last 2 will be all out to do so again. I couldn’t be confident about any of the others on current form
