DILMUN DYNASTY (2.30) was a little disappointing last time but Sir Michael Stoute has found the son of Sea The Stars a suitable opening at Chepstow.
My selection didn't appear to have progressed from a promising debut when only fourth to Durrell at Chelmsford City but the form of that race is beginning to work out quite well. He should be good enough to see off market rival Saffran.
Stoute saddles EL PICADOR (2.00) with each-way prospects in the 1m 2f handicap. Although carrying top weight, El Picador has been dropped 2lb following his fifth to Jackamundo at Nottingham. A visor replaces blinkers.
FOX VARDY (7.40) can make a winning handicap debut if there is some rain around at Windsor this evening. Andrew Balding's colt showed up well at Salisbury (soft) when finishing third to Mankayan in a 1m 4f maiden. That form received a quick boost a few days later when the horse that finished fourth, John Gosden's Make My Day, won at Goodwood. Fox Vardy had three lengths in hand of Make My Day and is the value bet against hot favourite Asian Angel, a wide margin winner at Ayr last Friday evening. The ground was fast at Ayr but underfoot conditions may be different here.
Early one for Monday as I expect the 3-1 to shorten.

PACIFY, formerly owned by Ralph Beckett was rated over 100 on the flat makes his hurdles debut aged 7.
Had wind up since moving stable and if he has schooled well is a class above these.
Could call it a royal winner if it wins as was owned by prince charles’s Floozie Camilla 😁.
Don’t blame me if this is a duffer but it’s just my opinion.
STD and the Dr. teamed up to get 2/2 winners today at Southell and they only have 1 on Monday, one making its hcap debut up against PACIFY, given yours is already down to 7/4, a watching brief for me but hopefully as you say, a class above.

did you look at DAZZLING DES’s form in the Sermon race?? was going to piss it always, forecast was easy too, massive.
i know i may sound like a c*nt and your strike rate speaks for it self, just all about helping each other improve, DAZZLING DES beat royal ascot 4th in a class 1, this race was class 4, also just behind two subsequent class 2 winners.. looked very promising with red hot connections too.
