Pontefract 3.15
CLON COULIS (3.15) was a runaway winner of the Listed race on Pontefract's card 12 months ago and there is every chance of an action replay this afternoon.
David Barron's mare ran a stormer when pipped in the Royal Hunt Cup and, as a hold-up horse, she should get the strong gallop she needs to swoop fast and late.
Last year's shock Qipco 1000 Guineas heroine Billesdon Brook bounced back to form at Chelmsford City last time and is probably the main threat.
Pontefract 5.15
QUOTELINE DIRECT (5.15) was also a clear-cut winner on this card last year and Micky Hammond's gelding shouldn't be far away, although he has not hit the same heights so far this season.
A proper gallop would also suit him and the only front-runner appears to be Bay Of Naples, who might enjoy an easy lead.
Pontefract 4.45
GARRISON COMMANDER (4.45) is the each-way recommendation against hot favourite Mecca's Gift, last week's easy Hamilton scorer. Garrison Commander met a useful type in Crystal Tribe at Brighton last week and this is an ease in grade.

Was the double I looked at Maverick or even a Trixie with Coulis but hey a 6/4 single will do.
Stick to paper handicap form and if you have the time you cant lose. Sporting life website, find a suitable race, check what your horse has been doing compared to what it has on its plate today.. there are good spots to be found.
Your horse FRANCO.. never won on turf. Is raised 3lbs for the win, besides LTO and his 2nd race ever, he has never raced in class 4 company, in a worse race over similar going and distance it came 2nd when 4lbs lighter.. franny is on board all 3 of his.. i dont envisage a hattrick so if one or both the first 2 win i class that as another negative.

dunn and fallon team up gain in the same silks as when scoring last week, the horse he is on was 2nd last time by less than a length and now gets 5lbs taken off his back, he is dropped just over a furlong which is the concern but given what’s gone before 11/4 looks fine. not looked at a single market rival and wouldnt be shocked if was an ”upset” so tread wisely

Bridey’s Lettuce is dropped another 3lbs and has a 5lb claimer on this time, she is now EIGHT lbs lower than 3 starts back which was over the exact same CD on the same going, which for a PLACE bet at LEAST, looks great.
i have not looked at anything other in the race besides INFINITI, who is 6lbs lower than a CD 2nd 2 starts back, albeit he lost by 9 lenghts, the jockey on board has ridden him a very close 2nd before off a higher mark and the 3rd horse that day has won twice since.
BOL both 5/1 shots, lot of runners though, both around EVENS for top 4

well played – glad someone profitted, the fallon horse placed and was suspecting an upset but was worth a stab although big drift could’ve allowed us to avoid if i wasnt looking at the next race, but…. very rewarding to see the 2 horses in the 1750 came in 1st and 2nd – no FC for me though :D

Going to do a cover bet in the Francophillia race £30 what horse you think?
i dont mind putting up a horse, but to be asked that, i would feel too bad (believe it or not) if it lost, so i am not sure, too competitive and would advise using that 30 on a better opportunity in the night or 2moro.
also bet365 will pretty much give you a full refund on cash out bets before the off, unlike the robbers over at Sky, so maybe worth a check if you can bet online.
what i would say is, the Balding horse has the 7lbs taken off, last time it didnt have any taken off and before that, it was only 3, so is 3lbs below 2 starts back when 2nd over the same CD as tonight, however the horse that beat him was a norton/johnston combo. PJ Dobbs bangs in a few winners too, one of his last 4 wins was for this trainer, which is probably why i would opt to stick with what you’ve done and find a better opportunity, no point needlessly chucking 30 on the same race, it isn’t like you dont have a chance with francko
not saying it had much at all to beat but PACIFY hit most of the fences and still won nicely, all depends on the race it is in next but if anyone has note books.. :D
I ended up doing a £16 double on Govenor of Punjab in the 18.10 and Perfect Illusion in the 19.10 which if wins I get £169 and if the treble with with Francophillia I get £245 so I now have a 50% chance of a win but knowing my luck 1 of the other 2 I havemt covered will win Haha 🤷♂️
nice, so lucky with PUNJAB, I had it in a 4fold, which has just landed, with pacify, and isle of destiny to place 8/11 and TREASURE CHEST, just won 4/1 but i chose 4/7 just to place, about 18/1 lovely.
just remember patience if key and what not mav, ive been consumed in racing for a long time and had some rollercoasters, now starting to take small wins or place smaller bets with more risk etc. i have put massive bets on but now going to build an empire £20 at a time, BOL.
