Sea Flawless got into a nice position at Pontefract and travelled well for the most part, but I think Tom Marquand panicked a bit and tried to go wide when things were getting tight around the bend. He met trouble in running after that, and if he was patient, the door would've opened on the inside, and he would've been placed at the very least and returned a small profit.

Windsor 6:35 – Live In The Moment 3/1 (1pt WilliamHill)

Dreadful racing as Mondays always are, so I won't be getting involved too much other than having a small bet on Live In The Moment who is the class horse in this Class 4 (0-85) handicap, and he is in the same form of his two recent runner-up performances, he should be tough to beat.

The only thing which will probably put you off from backing Live In The Moment is the weight he is carrying. He is top weight in this as he is rated 87 in a 0-85, so has to carry 10st 4lbs, but 5lbs of that is removed from Christian Howarth. Christian hasn't hit the ground running this year but made a good impression from he did start riding, he's racked up 40 winners as an apprentice so has bags of experience and recently was used by Saeed Bin Suroor, which resulted in a win, so the fact big yards like that are using him it's a good indicator that he's well worth his claim.

Live In The Moment has always been a good-level handicapper, he was on the verge of breaking into a Class 1 horse under Adam West but things went south and his handicap mark plummeted. Since moving to Alice Haynes his form has started to pick up again and that saw him finish as runner-up in two Class 4 events. He is a versatile horse, but usually likes to be up with the pace, so Stall 3 is a good draw, especially at Windsor where the rail is normally a huge advantage. You've got to ignore his run in the Epsom Dash where his gate opened up ridiculously late in a malfunction, giving three or four in that race no chance. With him running off a mark of 82 with the claimer's 5lb claim taken into consideration he should be going very close and the odds on offer are more than generous, even though there are younger and more unexposed horses in the lineup.
