WEST CORK (1.15) catches the eye at Warwick on a very quiet betting day.
The gelding joined Dan Skelton after winning an Irish point 12 months ago and was clearly well-fancied on racecourse debut at Wetherby last month. West Cork was bet into 6-5 favourite but couldn't contain the Philip Hobbs-trained Jatiluwih, a more experienced 135-rated horse. That was a satisfactory introduction.

Has much better AW form than turf. Has been placed in 6 of his 12 runs and won over C&D off a mark of 53. His only run at Dundalk this year was in April when 5th off 61 beaten 2 1/4L
Runs tonight off 45.

Has been going well recently over the sticks, winning a maiden and 3rd in its first h’cap since its last run on the flat. Has been dropped 5lbs to 67 and jockey takes 4lbs off and had a winner last week.
2 previous visits to the track resulted in a 1st and a 3rd.

this 1635 at newcastle.. just opened all the horses and there’s literally 1 horse i discounted at first glance should be good viewing.
the tutty horse just went 5/1, it was nk 2nd lto up 1lb but 3lbs claimer .. her daughter is on now, 4 places, 5/1 looks like a free bet ”TANGLED”

thin analysis here on ian jardine but none of his last 6 winners won first out although 1 came 2nd. so very thin analysis but his debutant may not be best watch, having said that his sire’s progeny have a really high AW percentage. although a specialist sprinter perhaps 7f is another negative, is in jardine’s best colour though –

Looks the best on paper, sire decent AW win percentage. 2nd over 7 at wolves, 3rd here over a mile, back over 7 from top yard, too short for me.
Malizia makes debut. Brunch 2nd start tried on heavy first time out. Where’s Mick up 2f 4/11 lto tried on heavy/soft both times also. also out of EQUIANO though and should enjoy AW, maybe worht ew at 6/1.

Don’t give up on Thomas Darby, although I went against it today I suspect trainer wanted to get a run in him before bigger targets, my winner was match fit, only lost by a length and wasn’t knocked about too much.
