CARAVAN OF HOPE (4.10) gained due reward for some near misses when beating Pianissimo at Ascot (soft) last month and can go in again at Doncaster.
Pianissimo scored last night to give the form a solid look and Caravan of Hope previously had the misfortune to run into the improving Trueshan at Ffos Las. Hugo Palmer's colt should be suited by the step up to 1m 6f and represents terrific each-way value at 5-1. Ginistrelli looks the one to beat.
With rain forecast in the south-west, it could be pretty tough going at Newbury and Cheltenham. BRIGHT EYED EAGLE (1.40) finished second to Convict (easy winner since) in a Redcar maiden and Ed Walker's two-year-old can go one better in the one-mile Novice Stakes.
I'M AVAILABLE (2.50) carries top weight in the fillies' handicap but Andrew Balding's three-year-old handled heavy ground at Epsom when hunting up Marronnier last month. That was her first run since June and I'm Available should strip a bit sharper.
Charles Byrnes sends DOCTOR DUFFY (2.00) over from Ireland and his six-year-old ran a fine second to the 145-rated Darver Star at Listowel (soft). He previously gave 5lb and a four lengths beating to Gordon Elliott's Lethal Steps and Elliott seems happy enough to take on Doctor Duffy with prolific winner Braid Blue. However, those victories have come on good ground and a bigger threat may be Champagne Well, representing the in-form team of Fergal O'Brien and Paddy Brennan.
ANYONECANHAVEITALL (5.25) should land the opener at Newcastle. Mark Johnston's three-year-old won over course and distance last month, drawing clear and having four lengths to spare over Blame It On Sally.
