BUSTAAN (4.15) has been found a weak fillies' Novice Stakes at Wolverhampton and is expected to improve quite markedly on her promising debut here last month.
She wasn't knocked about in finishing fourth to the Queen's Desert Caravan and Owen Burrows will have Bustaan fully tuned up on the back of that effort. Bet365 priced her up at 5-1 around four o'clock yesterday afternoon but that soon disappeared, although 9-2 is still available in places.
TUKHOOM (6.15) is a model of consistency and David O'Meara is a dab hand at keeping these older horses ticking over on a regular basis as he proved with Watchable at Lingfield yesterday. Tukhoom was beaten less than a length over course and distance last Tuesday, never quite getting to favourite Unforgiving Minute. He had a length to spare over Boy In The Bar when scoring at Sandown in September and there is little between them at the weights this evening. Tukhoom should reward an each-way investment.
QAARAAT (7.15) is a habitual hold-up sprinter and needs to come off a fast gallop. He ran second here 17 days ago, finishing fast, and if the cards fall kindly Qaaraat should be involved.
