THE quickest way to making profit in the last couple of weeks has been to follow Gavin Cromwell almost blind and the Irish trainer sends MID ATLANTIC STORM (4.00) over to Catterick with a huge chance. His gelding ran fifth to Phoenix Open at Limerick ten days ago and the winner was beaten on the nod at Leopardstown last week. That gives him plenty in hand and odds-against rates a big bet.
QUINTADA (3.00) drops in grade and her third to Bella Vita at Salisbury in May has made to look very good with the winner racking up four straight wins. Mark Johnston's filly acquitted herself well when third to Arctic Fox at York in May.
BE PERFECT (5.00) has sound previous winning course form around Catterick and will take a deal of beating in the amateurs' event. Ruth Carr's veteran hosed up at Hamilton last month before running third at Epsom.

Gavin Cromwell is the hottest trainer around and MID ATLANTIC STORM 11/10 (4pm Catt) holds strong claims. At Lingfield I am opting for a previous CD winner HURRICANE ALERT to finish in the top 3 @ 11/8. I was on BRIDEY’S LETTUCE last time when winning and the extra distance should suit, I haven’t looked at the race in depth so I will be taking the 4/5 for a top 4 finish. ANNIE ANGEL 15/8 is another who won last time and is taken to defy her 6lbs penalty in the 1620 at Uttoxeter. 1pt each. -1.39

klopp looks a huge price IF they decide they want to try him, and why wouldn’t they when they are getting 20/1,,, the only negative is he is in a class 5 and typically wins in class 6.. and he is drifting markedly, 22/1 for 3, or 16s for 4.. worth it for a team who owe me zilch. BOL.

you can get 9/1 for 3 places ew on THE NIGHT KING which i think is quite big, a little high in weights and much more at home on the AW but given he only had to beat 1 of the three market leaders, i think it is reasonable – although comes with a few too many risks for anyone looking for a banker.

I am hopeful MIA DIVA 5/2 can get the day off to a good start. She won last time out and her form is solid enough despite having only raced twice. Point of Order comes from top connections and is an obvious danger in what looks like a 2 horse race.
Gavin Cromwell let us down for a ‘full house’ yesterday but he is well worth sticking with. He has two LTO winners in the same race and I am going to bet on both. PEACHES AND CREAM 11/8 to win and LUCKY ROAD 7/2 to place top 3/4.
GAINSY has won fresh before off 3lbs higher and is worth chancing in the place market, I will also be betting on ASCOT WEEK 9/4 who won 10 days ago and is only up 2lbs.
BIG STORM COMING 2/1 won this race last year from 1lb higher and given he won over C&D last week, I see no reason to abandon him, he has the same trainer/jockey combo as Ascot Week and I expect at least one of them to go in.
Finally, I will chance ALLEGIANT 2/1, these colours have been in the winners enclosure recently and we went very close LTO over C&D, we are up 2lbs but given we travelled so nicely, we should go close once again.
