AIR PILOT (3.40) is back from a summer break and ready for take off at Goodwood.

The top weight, last seen finishing third in a Group 3 in France, is often campaigned at a high level in Europe and is best caught fresh. Rain is forecast which will be music to the ears of connections. Illumined is probably best of the young guns in opposition.

SPECIALISE (4.10) chased home Illumined in the mud at Haydock and earlier posted a fine win at Lingfield. Roger Varian's three-year-old meets some similarly in-form and progressive fillies in what should be a tight finish.
