The winning run came to an unfortunate end with my selection Harry Brown only managing 3rd place.
Monday's racing looks okay, more so from a jumps perspective than the flat. I've decided to stick with the jumps and avoid the low-class sprints at the evening meeting.
Aubis Walk 11/8 – 1:10 Ayr
A 7 runner race that the bookies have marked up as a 2 horse race supposedly.
I'm taking Aubis Walk who will be ridden by Brian Hughes tomorrow to come out on top.
Aubis Walk has some decent form and is unlucky not to be going into this race tomorrow on the back of a previous win.
She was just beaten in the closing stages at Kelso last month.
She jumps and stays well. I expect there to be a bit of a pace tomorrow which I think will set the race up nicely for her.
Hopefully, Hughes can settle her nicely on the heels of the leaders and allow her jumping to ease her into the business end going strong.
Champagnesocialist is the most obvious threat and is reflected in the market as they basically neck and neck. It will be interesting to see which one is backed in and which one possibly drifts.
