NEWMARKET trainer Tom Clover has prospects of an all-weather double at Lingfield and Kempton.
WISE EAGLE (3.40) made a pleasing debut last month at Lingfield, running-on into fourth behind Made In Italy, and the gelding returns to the track to contest the one-mile maiden. It doesn't appear a strong event, with Ivan Furtado's Captain St Lucifer the one to beat following an equally encouraging opening run at Wolverhampton.
Clover's other runner of interest is the more exposed RAJMAN (6.00) at Kempton. The colt is a dual course and distance winner and a 2lb rise for his latest success is by no means harsh.
Oisin Murphy replaces Hollie Doyle on previous Kempton winner Vibrance (7.30) in the staying handicap but his price quickly collapsed last night. At more advantageous odds, Richard Fahey's BANK HOLIDAY (3.10) is sent south to Lingfield to contest a modest 1m 2f handicap with leading claims. The filly hadn't shown much previously before her eye-catching Wolverhampton third 12 days ago and Bank Holiday is bred to appreciate this longer trip. Hopefully, there is better to come.

Pretty sure Benie now wont run in the race.
I think anything that can run to around 165 will win it.
CE has a chase rating of 165. His hurdle rating is 159 which puts him on the same mark as Epitante but of course she will be getting the mares 7lbs. Epitante was given a 9lbs rise in the ratings for her xmas hurdle win from 150 but you would have to question that so is 159 a true rating?
It’s a very poor field and I think Cilaos Emery could be the best of a bad bunch.
