Yesterday was a good day all round. We went quite close with Baryshnikov, who finished second and couldn't stay on strong enough to challenge the winner who received a good front running ride. However, Garden Oasis was a tough winner at odds of 9/1 and like I said in my piece, he is very tough to pass.

A bit of a leap of faith is needed, but I am willing to give KIMIFIVE a chance for his second start for David Bridgwater.
On his day, Kimifive is a very capable sprinter, but in recent times he has been a bit hit or miss. He has competed and ran well in big sprint races, including a second placed finish in the 2020 Stewards' Cup, going down by a head to Summerghand. Since that specific race, he has been placed on a couple of occasions, and has also finished a decent 4th and 5th where he was only a length behind the winner. In his last couple of starts for his previous trainer and his sole start for his new trainer, he was raced over 7f, and I'm not quite sure that is what he wants. His best form comes over 6f on fast ground, and that is what he gets today.
Epsom is a track in which he handles, and arguably his best run of the season came at this track when finishing 3rd, 2 lengths behind Ejtilaab. That horse has progressed since and is now rated 12lbs higher than when they met in the early parts of June. That run was on Good To Soft ground, so to run as well as he did on ground which is deemed not to be best suited for him, it was a very good attempt. If they set a quick pace, then that will play into the hands of Kimifive who often runs from the back and will run on strongly in the last furlong. This is a drop in class for him, as he has mainly competed in Class 2's for the best part of a year, and he drops into a Class 3 for the first time since June 2020. He has only won 3 times in 43 runs, so that goes to show he needs things to drop right for him to get a win. His most recent start for David Bridgwater wasn't great by any means, but the fact they've booked Tom Marquand for his second start for the yard shows a statement of intent.

The 4-7 jolly been turned over at odds on twice already, couldn’t make my mind up on the other 2 but herbertandflorence trainer won this race for last 4 years and oisin booking a plus.
Back down to his level after a dabble at class 2 level last time out.

Just a quick question regarding 5.30 Newton Abbott.
Top 2 in hot form, slim price for both. My question is, does the age gap and weight difference give you guys a good idea who has better chance? 7lb claim on fav and also rating higher.
Also tongue strap and cheek pieces, I mean when you try to analyse all of this and come to a conclusion 🤯
Surely the younger, higher rated horse albeit heavier horse should win?
