Copy Artist was mowed down in the straight to lose out on the line by around a head which was frustrating. I don't think she did much wrong besides being beaten by the better horse on the day.

Jockey David Probert dropped his whip about 100 yards from home, whether one more whip cost him the race is a slight talking point however the distance from when he dropped it to the line wasn't a lot so I'll not use it as an excuse.

4 meetings to get tucked Into on Monday and I have a selection in the afternoon meeting at Hereford and one from the evening meeting at Wolverhampton.

I've also an each-way side bet in the last at Wolverhampton that I'll not have a write-up on but will Include at the bottom.

Hit Mac 11/8 – 7:00 Wolverhampton

I'm really hoping this one doesn't let me down as I've personally been on the back of a couple of losing bets on this particular horse who does everything right besides get his head in front.

When a horse falls into the category of consistently finishing in second place I normally avoid it until such time they break the duck. On this occasion, I'm going against that rule as I feel this horse can do the job this evening.

Yet to get his head In front in 9 starts, Boughey’s hit Mac at least shows a model of consistency at this pretty low level having finished second 6 times as well as a third-spot finish.

He has a pretty keen way of racing to say the least which to from watching his last race possibly cost him the race.

That being said there's no doubt in my mind Hit Mac is a horse with the ability to win a race of this nature.

Coconut Splash 2/1 – 2:40 Hereford

Rizz is the main man for your jumps racing tips and this horse has let him down on countless occasions. If I remember correctly I think he said he wasn't for giving this one another roll of the dice.

Yet here I am breaking that rule as well, Rizz if it wins, I apologise in advance!

Evan Williams Coconut Splash has to put a below-par run at Cheltenham behind him however I think he has a great opportunity tomorrow to get off the mark over fences.

Although Coconut Splash has been a pretty frustrating horse to follow he's at least consistent…

He has only been out of the places once in eight chase starts. That one time coming on his previous run that he needs to bounce back from when he pulled up behind Midnight River at Cheltenham back on NYD.

He made a mistake early on in that race and it was curtains from there on.

Its worth noting hes moving back to novice company tomorrow which should hopefully increase his chances. Only a 3 runner field which I'm not totally for as they can become quite tactical, that being said Coconut Splash is a horse with experience which he can put to good use.
