Racing Tip: Friday’s Free Racing Tips at Lingfield and Kelso

The winning run continued as both of my predictions won nicely on the day.

You wear it well was head and shoulders above the rest on the day whilst Oisin Murphy returned to the race track to get up on Jupiter Express.

Friday's racing can only be described as pathetic but I do have another 2 selections for you all and fingers crossed for another winning day.

Sassy Redhead 10/3 – Lingfield 3:50

Tipping up a horse called Sassy Redhead may seem a bit biased coming from a ginger Northern Irish man but I couldn't help but have a punt on this one to upset the shorter-priced favourite.

Sassy Redhead finished second behind the market leader Miss Moonshine when they met at Kempton last month and there's no doubt that Rod Millman hat trick-seeking filly comes into this as the horse on the form.

That being said I think there's every chance that Sassy Redhead could turn the tables. After a re-watch of her run last month it was clear she was far too keen in the earlier stages of the race and ultimately used up too much petrol in the process.

I think if she can get some cover and settle better she could definitely go close. She also gets a 7lb pull on Miss Moonshine under jockey Collen Storey which will further aid her chances of reversing the placings.

Dubai Days 4/1 – 3:05 Kelso

I'm sure my good pal Rizz won't mind me sticking up Dubai Days and backing against the short-priced favourite Minella Drama. Rizz has been on the back of some poor rides by Brian Hughes in recent times and to be honest we both can't stand the sight of him at present.

Minella Drama comes into this off the back of a nice win at Musselburgh last month. That being said he'll have to carry top weight of 12 stone which is never ideal whilst running on a ground surface which isn't totally up his street.

I think Dubai Days is a worthy selection to take him on at 4/1. He's consistent and near enough always runs his race. He's a previous course winner and will be in receipt of a whopping 25lb from Minella Drama which could just be the difference.
