Rizzel will be disappointed in the performance of his sole selection yesterday, with Heros only managing a fourth-place finish at Taunton.
Some sketchy jumping in the early stages of the contest set the tone for Heros, and despite an attempt in the later stages to get involved, he was fighting a losing battle when entering the business end.
Yesterday was a day for favourite backers, particularly at the meetings at Taunton and Chelmsford. Taunton saw five favourites land from six races, while the meeting at Chelmsford saw six favourites win from seven races.
Well done if you benefited from those results, as they don't happen that often.

Bashers Reflection 7/4 – Newbury 3.23
Small runner fields are not for everyone, but I thought I'd get involved in this competitive little contest as I feel Bashers Reflection holds strong claims against this field.
I think my selection can succeed in this sphere, particularly because it is proven over the trip and versatile in terms of the ground conditions.
Bashers Reflection also brings the most solid form to the table, with a recent second at Wetherby behind Real Stone being a nice piece of form to bring into this contest.
Although still a maiden over fences, there was plenty to like about Bashers Reflection's recent run behind Real Stone, a performance that came over this same advised distance on soft ground. He did finish 6L back in second, but the winner is now up to an OR of 131 on the back of that victory and looks like he could improve even further.
That was my selection's first run back from a wind op, and he should come on for the run.
Ben Pauling's The Good Doctor is an interesting runner, but that one has to bounce back from a below-par performance last time out at Hereford.
The Good Doctor has ability, but he has question marks on his head regarding his stamina over the trip. All Authorized is proven over the trip and handles testing conditions, but similar to The Good Doctor, he has to bounce back from a disappointing run at Sandown last time out.
Kikijo is completely unexposed and makes his chase debut, but is probably better watched this time around.
