I planned on throwing up 3 selections in total but Rizz has already hit the nail on the head with the two I was going to choose, Addeybb and Golden Voice, so I’ll not bore you all with another write up on those two selections.
Thought I would at least add them in as it’s probably good to have two tipsters agreeing on the same selections.
My main selection how ever is Golden Apollo.
8:40 Haydock
I think a big run is on the cards for my selection Golden Apollo tonight at Haydock.
He hasn’t won in quite a long time which is a bit of a concern I must admit. His last win stretching back to 2019 when he landed the Ayr Gold Cup. As a result he has plummeted down the weights and takes a drop in class tomorrow.
His previous two runs in large handicap fields were both decent efforts in their own right. A 4th place finish at York in a large 21 runner field class 4 and then most recently at Pontefract where he finished 5th in a class 3 16 runner field.
I think if he can reproduce any sort of performance as he’s done in his previous couple of runs that he’ll definitely be involved at the business end of the race.
