Friday Racing Tips: Quick turnaround no problem for Polyphonic

Friday has arrived again, the weeks are flying by and another few days of decent racing is on the horizon. 

Hats off to Rizzle who may not have had a winner yesterday but his form of recent has been nothing short of outstanding! Well done mate!

Newcastle 5:06 – Polyphonic 11/10

I don’t think the quick turnaround will be anything to worry about for Polyphonic who ran yesterday when finishing 2nd losing out by a neck at Haydock in class 4 handicap.

His stamina kicked in just a tad too late as he chased down the eventual winner he was very unlucky as a few strides he’d of got the head in front.

He’s due to be raised 10lb in the future so it appears connections are eager to get him back out before that rise comes into play. The recent gelding operation has worked wonders and if turning up on song he’ll be tough to beat.

He actually takes a drop-in trip tomorrow to 1m2 from 1m4 but he stays 1m4 beautifully so I can see him coming down the straight still on the bridle and hitting the final furlong strongly if all goes well.
