BOXING DAY is upon us and so is part one of our Christmas Jumpers Gambla Racing podcast. Have a listen for the thoughts of John Egan and myself on the best action on Boxing Day.
Please note I have also added two more tips since recording the podcast – two Henry Daly runners in the 12.55pm at Wincanton and the 3.40pm at Kempton.
12.55pm Kempton
PRECIOUS ELEANOR looks like the sort of progressive type that Henry Daly excels with and there isn't much strength in depth in the race so I can see her going very close at big odds.
1.20pm Kempton
COMMANCHE RED has been underestimated on his form in two good chases so far and looks a good price to me.
1.55pm Kempton
My selection in the race is MASTER TOMMYTUCKER because I think Paul Nichols will have him primed to go today. He has missed a bit of his career through injury and this is his big season.
2.10pm Wetherby
I like the old boy GUITAR PETE here who will benefit from the extended trip in my opinion having run on nicely in a few of his recent races over shorter.
2.30 Kempton
ELIXIR DE NUTZ is overpriced based on his juvenile form and what looked to be a promising warm-up run last time out. He travelled really nice and then just faded at the last hurdle which I assume was due to a lack of race sharpness. He'll be much closer today.
3.05pm Kempton
CYRNAME is my selection in a fascinating race, even with Thistlecrack now being a non-runner.
3.40pm Kempton
My second Henry Daly selection is HONEST VIC who should benefit from the extra trip here and still has some improvement in him. Grab the 14-1 from Bet365 while you can.
