WITH one eye on Aintree I’ll be fiddling around each-way on Wednesday. SPACE WAR (3.15) has been despatched from Yorkshire to Lingfield by Mick Easterby and his veteran handicapper can make the journey pay.
The gelding scored at Lingfield over six furlongs last February and races off a 3lb lower mark. Throw in Harrison Shaw’s 7lb allowance and Space War is certainly weighted to have a big say in the finish.
The 11-year-old will strip sharper for a recent pipe-opener at Southwell and with Bertie Blu Boy almost certain to ensure a strong gallop, Space War can sit off the pace and wind his way through from stall 3.
DE LITTLE ENGINE (1.40) and Rattle On contested different divisions of the Class 6 handicap on the Lingfield card last Wednesday.
De Little Engine, having his first run for his new yard, had to settle for second spot behind Mime Dance, while Rattle On finished a neck behind Bookmaker. The times of both races were almost identical so it’s a toss-up between the pair. The betting market could prove a significant guide.
At Kempton this evening KELLY’S DINO (8.15) can regain the winning thread.
The five-year-old has twice been denied in tight finishes at the metropolitan track recently and Karl Burke replaces cheek-pieces with blinkers on Kelly’s Dino.

To be honest unless you like flat racing I would skip today and look to aintree tomorrow for some decent action.

no just fancy him .he was unlucky lto when he was bumped at the start coming out of the stalls , stall 9 he would have been much closer only for that, finished very strong that day and better draw today ,good luck if you back him

Exactly we have tommo and john who are both at the top of their game right now. At the end of the day everyone on here will lose more than they win including myself but every hobby costs money!
