INDIAN CHIEF (4.55) has remained in form since hacking up in the mud at Hamilton in early September and has a good chance of defying top weight at Nottingham.
He ran a cracker over course and distance seven days ago when pipped by Compton Mill, with useful Silver Ghost well held in third. Indian Chief ideally wants testing ground and some heavy showers are forecast throughout the afternoon.
At odds of 4-1 he makes plenty of each-way appeal against market leader William Sayle. John Gosden's three-year-old could be well treated at the foot of the weights but this Wolverhampton maiden winner back in March encounters totally different terrain today.

What can you say about that? Never off the bridle. Absolute cruising, even in the final furlong. Jockey obviously had other plans though.
Agreed. I was tearing my hair out and very frustrating
You ain’t got much left! Interesting to see you and Johnb on two the same at Ayr tomorrow.
