IT'S a typically low-key Monday but I'm having a dabble at Wolverhampton on CHAMPAGNE PINK (6.50).
Kark Burke's filly didn't appear to get home over Newcastle demanding 1m 2f last time but wasn't disgraced in fourth behind Desert Ruler. Champagne Pink had earlier rattled off a three-timer at Wolves and although a bit higher in the handicap this looks within her compass.
Mick Appleby landed a touch with Courier at Chelmsford City yesterday and I'm hopeful THA'IR (7.20) will reward an each-way interest.
This ex-Godolphin inmate didn't look happy on Fibresand last time but a repeat of his course second to General Hazard towards the end of November would make him competitive. Tha'ir runs off a 4lb lower mark.

John, a friend of my cousin is considering getting a mare of his covered by gamut.
I thought he was having a laugh. Apart from from noël meades gold cup contender, gamut has very few if any progeny worth noting.
Perhaps you can recommend an alternative to gamut john.
What is the Mare so I can check pedigree
She’s a 6 year old mare by westerner. The dam is a presenting mare. That’s all I know john. I think he has his mind stuck on gamut john.
The only mare that springs to mind is Pollys Pursuit
Nothing wrong with Gamut who was €3000 last year, you are probably looking at a nh horse on any ground but better on a soft surface even heavy ground although the horses action will tell more
If wanting to run on the flat I wouldn’t rule out all-weather

Still like Bristol De Mai, some think he is ground and course dependant but still give him a chance, I think I would be disappointed if he didn’t place, The value is gone on Coney Island but also has a chance if running but is less experienced
