THOMMO hit the ground running with winners at Southwell and Musselburgh yesterday and has one bet for Thursday.

Kelso 3.35

It's a case of quality over quantity at Kelso, with AYE RIGHT nap material in the 2m 6f handicap hurdle. A 4lb rise for his impressive Ayr success 43 days ago isn’t severe and he looks a progressive six-year-old.

The rest of the card features several ‘good things’ at prohibitive odds but I’ll keep my powder dry ahead of a Super Saturday.

    Uncle Pim, absolutely brilliant yesterday.
I did an £11 Yankee on 4 of your horses minus the outsider.
First two up and I bottled out for 176 versus 1k.
    176 is brilliant for me.
Then did 5 ew on outsider.
    What a day.
    Thanks again

i typically like to look over every horse in the race so they can be categorically ruled out. today i have just picked out a few fancies and if their chances look good enough, i haven’t analysed their market rivals.

    555cfc – Naralsaif 11/4
This time last year, Naralsaif won 3 in a row, winning off 48, 53 and 56, the latter two races being class 5. Today she goes in a class 6 off of 50, up 2lbs from her win LTO. The danger is Little Miss Kodi who she beat by a nk last time, LMK gets 1lbs to help her cause and with a better posi, could easily get revenge. However, with the treble landing stable jockey back on board today, I’ll cross my fingers and go with Shaw and Mathers, whom teamed up for a 7/1 winner last night (and as I said last winter, are names for the notebook – especially in the ‘Mr Paddy Barrett’ black/white silks)

    205f – Silver Quay 5/4
Alan tipped this horse two starts back, it won off 90. I watched the race and despite a 10lb raise, tipped it to go in again, it obliged and is out again today for the third time in 26 days off of the same mark. Therefore, the horse owes me nothing and having won comfortably enough last time, I will stick with it. The price is a concern given it’s the 3rd race in 26 days, there’s a large field of rivals to beat, the horses first trip away from Taunton in 6 races and it is up into class 4 company.

at 155k, My Old Gold evs goes in a 4 horse race, he beat his market rival LTO, and is 3lbs better off for that, the rival won lto, which is why he is worse off for losing so assuming we can avoid an upset from Tarnapino, he looks an OK bet.

one too many for old Silver, and I will apologise for tipping My Old Gold, i have analysed enough markets to realise this one was probably a false fav, but given it beat the winner last time and was better off at the weights, i went with it.

i was only able to watch in play odds movement, and since it drifted to double figure prices, i thought the chance was gone but just seen the drifting NARALSAIF 4/1 gets home for us, two main picks in a row come home, so it is nice to see my reasoning is there or there abouts, reservations about silver quay being too highly tried proved right, whilst the short priced horse which i nearly negated altogether got beat by a horse it had beaten on worse terms, hopefully profit for anyone following.

Not much taking my fancy today but there is a grade 3 at clonmel that looks a tricky race to pick a winner from but will have a small ew on MOSKOVITE @5/1 who I think is getting better with each race

    Quinto 4-20 fontwell.
    7-2 without sartorial elegance 7-2.
    And top 2 finish 2-1.

    Brilliant yesterday pom 💰💰
