OUR man's three Tuesday bets all run at Wolverhampton and are spearheaded by Picture Painter in the opener.
PICTURE PAINTER is well known to Scottish racegoers following spells with Jim Goldie and Keith Dalgleish. The six-year-old is now in the hands of David Pipe who sends him to Wolverhampton with an obvious chance in a poor amateur riders’ handicap.
Picture Painter ran third here almost three weeks ago and winner Clearance came out to score again at Kempton last week. Pipe’s conditional rider Fergus Gillard takes off 7lb.
DON’T DO IT beat an in-form rival in Zorawar at Chelmsford City last week and is taken to defy a 6lb penalty. Mick Appleby’s gelding wore a first-time visor on that occasion and the aid is retained. He has a good draw in stall three.
ELISHEBA blew that start on her debut at Kempton, losing many lengths, but stayed on encouragingly into fifth under tender handling. John Gosden’s filly, a daughter of Australia, should know more about the game this time.
