THERE'S racing from Catterick, Hereford, Kempton and Lingfield today and our man has four bets to consider.
Catterick 1.20
COOLE WELL was pulled out of an engagement at Kelso yesterday to wait for the 2m 3f novices’ hurdle at Catterick. Jamie Snowden also saddles Hogan’s Height which confuses matters, but Coole Well’s Fontwell second to a progressive type in On The Slopes was another sound effort on the back of his Plumpton victory in early December.
Lingfield 1.30
SWEET NATURE wears cheek-pieces for the first time and with Martin Harley replacing an inexperienced apprentice, she is fancied to land the fillies’ handicap for William Haggas.
Lingfield 2.40
PACTOLUS was in peak form when winning at Wolverhampton four weeks ago and may be capable of conceding weight all round in an interesting 1m 2f handicap at Lingfield.
Stuart Williams aimed him at the final of this all-weather championship series last March and Pactolus finished a good fourth, one spot behind Abe Lincoln. That horse makes his seasonal return today and may just need the run. Caspar The Cub wasn’t given the most positive of rides when beaten by stablemate Cosmeapolitan on his last visit to Lingfield but he could well turn the formbook on its head. This trip is on the sharp side, so Caspar The Cub will need a decent pace to attack.
Kempton 5.15
TRAPANI could be the answer to a weak-looking 1m 4f novice stakes at Kempton. John Gosden’s filly didn’t show an awful lot in sixth behind Godolphin’s One Vision at Newcastle but third horse War Tiger fairly hosed up at Wolverhampton on Monday. Cheek-pieces are applied and Robert Havlin takes the reins.

This all weather racing is awful stuff lost a few dollars today seems so unreliable not betting on it again. Might just be patient and weight for hibbees next tip will be betting the football later though. Well done any winners
