FABIANSKI has caught the eye in winning two races for Rebecca Menzies, at Wetherby and Catterick, and is fancied to land the hat-trick in the Listed Fillies’ Juvenile Hurdle.
Huntingdon 2.40
MAGIC OF LIGHT will be hard to beat in the Mares’ Listed Chase. Jessica Harrington has placed her brilliantly to win on both UK starts, her most recent success coming in a Grade 2 Hurdle from Jester Jet at Ascot last Saturday. Magic Of Light previously sauntered home by 14 lengths over fences at Newbury and is clearly in rampant form. Happy Diva could never get to grips with trail-blazer Cyrname on that same Ascot weekend card but ran a brave race nonetheless.
Doncaster 3.05
CONSTANCIO has found one too good on each of his three starts for Donald McCain but his second to Doctor Dex at Wetherby is looking better on the back of third horse Ingleby Hollow’s wide-margin victory earlier in the week.
Huntingdon 3.45
Young Jonjo O’Neill junior has been despatched to Huntingdon to ride his dad’s EY UP ROCKY in the 2m 4f handicap hurdle. The six-year-old ran a sound race in defeat at Doncaster and with 18-runners declared, there is scope for a fairly serious each-way punt.
Doncaster 4.05
HIS DREAM was strong at the finish when scoring over 3m 2f at Warwick on New Year’s Eve and Jonjo O’Neill’s son of Yeats clearly has stamina in abundance. The six-year-old remains at the right end of the handicap and can follow-up in the finale at Doncaster.
