Had a couple of quid on Alan’s treble (great stuff Alan thanks – Christmas has come early this year!) however William Hill have paid out on my price taken (14/1) and not the sp. I put the bet on Friday night so the only reason I can think of is they are taking it as an anti-post bet yet they paid the 20/1 on the single. Sent an email queering this last night with no reply to date. Would appreciate any advice/opinions as the couple of grand would make a tremendous difference to me (as you can probably tell by the two pound stake).

3.30C- Berkshire Spirit 6/5 looks a maximum stake bet today. Came 2nd behind Cape Counter LTO which is very strong form given that won a Group3 at Goodwood yesterday. Gossiping was well behind that day, yet as to give more weight away today due to Jason Watson’s claim.
3.00C- Fighting Irish 4/1. Was entered in a Group1 in France today but got balloted out so comes to Chester for a listed race.
5.10C- Red Force one 9/2. Won LTO over a mile but this step up in trip should suit well.
