Cashel is seeking a 3 timer, he looks set for a very good go at it as his 7lb claimer (not on for last 2 wins) negates his entire penalty and he goes off 1lb lower albeit up to class 5. He looks a very viable option, 2/1 even seems very reasonable, but you cannot ignore the Cox/Kirby combination and that is before we even look at its form. TAMERLANE runs off 70, LTO he was only capable of a 6 length 2nd over tonights conditions. The horse he lost to went up in class and up 10lbs, not really doing too much. HOWEVER, before that he had won his first two rated races, these were only off 59, but two starts back, he had FOUR subsequent winners behind him, these horses went on to win off 68 71 72 75 & 79, which is enough for me to begrudgingly overlook Cashel and go with the value. would keep an eye on the market and bet closer to the off if all seems well, TAMERLANE 10/3

WOW, Fisher Green was pom’s 100/1 winner and it was up against alan’as 1/2 shot which just ran out, Fisher strolls home and I didn’t even put a penny on it after drifting from 4 to 8s, wow, hope some kept faith.
