CAPE LIBERTY (8.30) was put in her place by Rude Awakening at Doncaster but meets less progressive rivals in the 2m handicap at Chester this evening. Simon Crisford has booked course specialist Franny Norton.
AASHEQ (6.55) appreciated the step up in trip when landing the Cumberland Plate at Carlisle, dashing clear from the furlong pole. Tim Easterby’s gelding, a previous Chester winner, is on a roll and should take care of another course winner, Jabbaar, and last Saturday’s Haydock scorer Rainbow Rebel.
CONFESSIONAL (9.00) loves the twisting Roodee circuit and will hopefully enjoy better luck in running than he did 13 days ago when continually short of racing room.
At York, DELPH CRESCENT (3.50) is turned out again quickly after his 11 lengths romp at Beverley last Friday and a 6lb penalty won’t prevent a repeat if Richard Fahey’s three-year-old is in the same form. Stall 10 isn’t ideal but that looks the only negative.

Lol morris what can ya say, horse racing makes me TRUELY believe there sre higher powers in this universe sending me signals 2 stop gambling, so much sickness. Knew we lost when she went to the front strsight away, now I will gamble the rest of my wages and lose it all on the same day, not pay rent and be disgusted with myself.
Usually around this time John you put out a name or two for next year’s classics. Know you are still examining everything John. Any closer to casting your predictions. I Usually select a couple of teams for promotion relegation etc and stick one of the horses on the end in the hope of hitting the big time.
