THOMMO reckons three of Mike Appleby's top prospects can all go close at Chelmsford on Thursday.
SAAHEQ seemed to get a bit bogged down on the deep Fibresand at Southwell and will be better suited by the slicker surface at Chelmsford City. Mick Appleby’s sprinter notched a double at Nottingham and Sandown in September and looks the right favourite.
Chelmsford 6.30 & 7.0
Appleby has other leading prospects in GLORY OF PARIS (6.30) and GREATEST JOURNEY (7.00). Glory Of Paris was just denied by Pinnata on his first run for the stable, stepping up from six furlongs to a mile. Greatest Journey landed some tasty bets when seeing off Goring at Wolverhampton and the runner-up was unlucky at Lingfield yesterday. A 6lb penalty makes life tougher but we know Greatest Journey is in tip-top form.
