Jahn Regensburg vs Werder Bremen – Over 2.5 Goals
Two sides right in the hunt for promotion in Bundesliga II meet at the Jahnstadion Regensburg as Werder Bremen travel to face Jahn Regensburg.
Jahn Regensburg’s matches have been full of goals this season, particularly at home where they’ve scored 22 and conceded 12 with over 2.5 goals landing in all eight.
Werder Bremen’s matches have also been full of goals this season, with 15/16 seeing at least two goals and 7/8 away from home seeing at least three.
Goals have been a common theme for these two sides all season and with both sides scoring and conceding plenty, we should see at least three strikes in Regensburg on Friday.
Eindhoven to Score 2+
Eindhoven currently find themselves in the playoff places and will target three points as they host a struggling Telstar side at the Jan Louwers Stadion.
Eindhoven have won their last two at home and boast the divisions best home record, with them winning six of their eight matches, scoring 17 goals.
Telstar were defeated 1-3 at home to mid table VVV last out, meaning they’ve now gone seven matches without a victory in the league.
Given Eindhoven’s strong home record and Telstar’s poor run of form, I’m happy to back the home side to find the back of the net at least twice.
Volendam to Score 2+
Volendam will look to keep up their great unbeaten run and collect yet another three points at home to mid table PSV II.
Volendam come into this unbeaten in their last 16 matches, winning 11 of them. Only Excelsior have scored more than them in the league, finding the back of the net 44 times in their opening 18 matches.
PSV II conceded in stoppage time last time out to lose 2-3 at home to De Graafschap meaning they’ve won just one of their last five matches in the league.
Volendam are on a great run of form and have been scoring freely all season and I’m expecting them to be too strong for a PSV II side who leak plenty of goals on their travels.
Köln vs Augsburg – Over 2.5 Goals
Two sides who’ve had contrasting seasons so far meet at the RheinEnergieStadion as 9th placed Köln host 16th places Augsburg.
Köln followed up their 4-1 win at home to Gladbach by drawing 1-1 away to Arminia Bielefeld to extend their unbeaten run in the Bundesliga to four matches.
After back to back victories at home against Stuttgart and champions Bayern Munich, Augsburg were defeated 2-3 by promoted Bochum.
Both sides have scored in all seven of Köln’s Bundesliga matches at home, with six seeing over 2.5 goals and with Augsburg scoring in seven of their last eight, we should see goals here with at least three being scored.
