AFTER a few quiet days we now start a run of Nations League games.
The inaugural tournament last year was much maligned but soon grew on punters as they were better than the friendlies they replaced and gave some teams a much better chance of reaching the Euro finals. Countries such as Scotland.
This time there is the huge carrot of a World Cup qualifying play-off place with three from 12 sides going through to the finals.
There are 10 games on Thursday at different tiers including Germany vs Spain, Bulgaria vs Ireland and Finland vs Wales.
At first glance I fancied Germany, Ireland and Russia at home to Serbia but as kick-off approaches I have doubts about almost all games due to lack of activity and weakened squads.
It's a big night for Irish boss Stephen Kenny in his first game in charge and he'll at least want to avoid defeat having named an experienced group that looks set up to keep the home side contained.
SlipTips has posted predictions and a match preview for Bulgaria vs Ireland so check it out.
Germany are missing keeper Manuel Neuer and the Bayern Munich players who won the Champions League as well as stars from Leipzig. They still have plenty of quality and pace though and young Kai Havertz could get a start.
Scott Allot has had a go at predicting this one so check out his Germany vs Spain match preview.
Teemu Pukki will play for Finland instead of Norwich in the EFL Cup and he will be up against a Wales side without the likes of Aaron Ramsey and David Brooks and boasting Gareth Bale who isn't match fit after playing just one game for Real Madrid after the season restarted.
Kosovo impressed last season and you'd expect them to win away to Moldova and looking at the minnows you have to fancy Latvia at home to Andorra and the Faroes at home to Malta.
I'm backing the Faroes on a treble with Germany not to lose and Ireland draw no bet. It's not exhilarating but has a chance on a night where games are likely to be tight and there could be a couple of surprise results.
Well done to any winners on Wednesday and let's hear everyone's thoughts on Lionel Messi's potential move to Man City although there are reports coming from Spain that suggest he might be staying after all.
Top Treble
- Germany not to lose
- Ireland draw no bet
- Faroe Islands

This is a crap league for goals so won’t be a goal glut.
Home team promoted to this league last season in impressive style.
Away team concede more often than not away.
Btts in this league is about 33% which is low.
Gut feeling tells me a draw. would have liked bigger odds to be honest given league goals stats but evens it is.

Hi everyone
Some alternative goal betting angles for the Nations League
https://mrfixitstips.co.uk/uefa-nations-league-a-goals-betting-angle/
Hi Greg
Have you stoped posting tips on this site
If not where can I find them
Keep up the good work greg the podcast is informative your strike rate presently is mind blowing
The odds are a little restrictive however the strike rate I can not argue with you obviously do your homework and have been in the game along time . Congratulations on your new venture any negative feedback some green eyed monsters around in every walk of life you are there to be shot at however recording a p/l is what it is all about that’s guts instead of forgeting losses and gloating the winners

Afternoon guys
Just a bit of insight ahead of the Super League game between Warrington and Hull of Friday night.
Warrington(my team for over 30 years) have been forced to ‘stand down’ 6 players for the upcoming game following a positive covid 19 test result from an opposing player after last weeks fixture against Wakefield. All 6 players are regular starters or first team squad players and most of them are forwards.
Despite this, Warrington have chosen to go ahead with the game to keep the integrity of the sport.
Having seen the early squad news it looks likely that our starting forward pack will be weakened and our subs bench almost made up exclusively of debutants or youngsters with under 10 top grade appearances.
Hull are a side with a BIG forward pack and can hurt any team with the go forward of the big men in the middle.
The game is being played at a neutral venue.
Despite Warrington’s form and recent h2h I think that Hull will be to strong for us on Friday. Too many big men running through tackles will tire our inexperienced defence late in the second half.
A few sites have taken the game down but bet365 still has it up. There may be others aswell.
Hull FC+6.5 Handicap 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hull FC to win 13/8 ⭐⭐⭐
Now to decide if I’m the kind of person who backs against my own team!!
Avid rugby league fan too and there’s loads of value in betting on the games, I’ll be on both the above. Fancy a flutter on my side tonight
Wigan -20 @ evens
Wigan over 14 first half points @ evens
Willie isa anytime try @ 2/1
Dom Manfredi 2 or more tries @ 11/5
It sounds good but only 3 of the players started and warrington smashed hull the last time they met.
Are these players big performers for warrington?
Great write up wire great content as without that knowledge and insight we would be in blissful ignorance so as a wire supporter are you going to back against your own team.? you have convinced me .
Money has no loyalty or colours – won’t hesitate in backing against my team if value is there
I’ve had to put my money where my mouth is on this occasion ?
Oneoff – these players tend to get a lot of minutes on the field compared to other forward packs in the league. Very settled and predictable usually. The disruption will have a big effect of the go forward of the team as a whole in my opinion. The last game between the 2 sides ended in a big win for Warrington but the Hull coach was sacked immediately after the game after seemingly losing the dressing room after 5 years or so in charge. They are a much more settled outfit now and coming off the back of a good win last week. The huge forwards will lay a platform for the quicker backs to play expansive rugby and I can see this taking it’s toll on a tiring Warrington defence.
First game of the new season in Qatar and al sadd have smashed new boys al khariyitath 5-1. It’s very early days but looks like new boys Cazorla and guillherme have added a creative spark that was missing in midfield last season. Today even saw them leave Asia’s best player on the bench for most of the game and still run riot. Worth keeping an eye on for the next couple of games to see if they’ve returned to their form of the previous season.
Thanks Sean! Thats great piece of information!! Absolutely worth adding to the shortlist. :))
Gaz I was commenting on Warrington fan post
Latvia 20+ booking points 4/5✅
Ukraine for me to win like 80%, but odds are just not reflecting that. So, thats where value lies. Check Swiss players fitness… almost all the team is on sideline as of March. Whereas Ukrainians are working hard. Yarmolenko to score big chance. :)
NB! Thats a biased opinion :) but will have a punt on my lads
Finland vs Wales over 2.5 goals
Germany vs Spain over 3.5 goals
Turkey vs Hungary over 2.5 goals
Russia vs Serbia over 2.5 goals

Messi staying at Barcelona. Odds are too slim now only 2-5. It was 9-4 last night.
Ante Post tips:
Everton top 10 at 4-6 (Paddy)
Arsenal top 6 at 4-6 (Will Hill)
Man City top scorers at 8-15 (Betfred)
Pulisic PFA young player of the year at 9-1 (Skybet)
Good Luck!
Btw Hull I try and avoid South American Football for goals. In my opinion it doesn’t make us long term profit.

Home team are generously priced to win at over evens but it’s post lockdown and strange things are happening after a long break.
San Luis last 19 home games seen 17 BTTS and have conceded in all 19.
Arica disappeared for a year and have appeared back in this league, their results away in their last stint were poor but hopefully San Luis habit of conceding at home leads to Btts.
Prediction 2-1

nite owl………….
I rarely put up reasoning or stats, just normally put up my bets but will do both on this occasion as going well against the bookies………….
goals in brazil normally hard to come by but has been a fair few since start up, this fixture traditionally sees more than most but been a while since last h2h’s in 2016, 2017, 2018………. 3-4, 0-0, 5-0, 4-3, 0-3
current form suggests the exact opposite…………….
happy enough to take a punt on low stakes at good odds………….
