WAYNE ROONEY was outshone by Odion Ighalo as Manchester United claimed the last FA Cup quarter-final.
Rooney came close to scoring a couple of times but it was new boy Ighalo who did strike twice in a convincing 3-0 win over Derby.
Well done to all the winners including Scott with another member bet success on what was a fairly quiet night. I had Man United on a treble but Athletic Bilbao and Rennes let me down.
Tonight we have one Championship match between Nottm Forest vs Millwall as well as some European games such as Paderborn vs Koln, Marseille vs Amiens and Alaves vs Valencia.
Rock-bottom Paderborn have lost four out of five and Cologne go there in good form having won three of their last four by at least three goals.
There are also the usual French Ligue 2, Eerste League and Austrian Eerste Liga so watch out tips from regulars such as Greg.
My concentration is on Saturday's card but if I do like the look of a Nottm Forest/Cologne double. For a Super Single double I'm going with Forest and Cologne not to lose at 9-10 but I'm also doing a 1.5pts double on both to win.
3pts Super Single
- Cologne not to lose (7pm)
- Nottm Forest not to lose (7.45pm)
- (9-10, Marathonbet)
1.5pts Daily Double
- Cologne
- Nottm Forest
- (4-1, Marathonbet)
March Super Single Stats: -1pt
March Advised Acca Stats: -6pts
No NAP or NB today, just a betbuilder from oz. With both sides in decent form and looking for the points to keep their play off hopes alive I can’t split them and I m not sure if there will be goals or not so I’m looking at cards and corners. The home side have only failed to clear this line once at home and wsw have only failed to clear it once away. Take both sides to get 4+. I’m adding in a card each, both sides have players who will put their foot in if they have to, and it’s landed 15 times in the last 16 meetings.
Advised tip
Both teams over 3.5 corners
10+ bp each
11/10 bet 365
As I said no NAP or NB stake bets today but adding a Friday night moneyback acca that I think has a reasonable chance. Max £10 4/5 sees stake returned as a bet.

What game is this in Australia Sean?
Apologies johan I mentioned wsw but didn’t mention the home side.
its Brisbane Roar v Western Sydney Wanderers. Whenever I mention oz, 99% of the time it will be the A league mate. Game had been going 50 mins already when you asked so its one you’ve missed anyway.
O.K Thanks (“,)
No joy. Brisbane do their part but WSW get 1 measley corner. In the 93rd min.

@andyhibs. Good prices again there on the French ligue 2 goals specials. Will be having a go on that again. Has already came in 2 or 3 times this season and is always worth a punt for loose change. Are these hills prices ?
Over 0.5 fh goals 41/1 hills
Slightly better prices with Hills, Andy’s prices from Skybet
1 goal short at HT yet again.. So frustrating 40/1 cost me £500…had geh for £1000 aswel
Always worth a small bet in ligue 2 goals. Cheers
This league has already paid for itself this season and for the next 3 season with 1st half goals landing 4 times already and as we approach the last 11 rounds of matches, definitely a chance it will land again

Some tasty looking and hard to call matches taking place in Lyon today. Kasatkina v Giorgi is a very interesting matchup on this surface, with Giorgi having the ability to power past Kasatkina, but Kasatkina having the variety and movement to eek errors out of the unpredictable Italian. Giorgi had a coupe of Cornet double faults to thank for surviving her last match, but played at a pretty high level for the most part and got through in three. Kasatkina hasn’t had a great start to the season but appears to be rounding into some form, although her last opponent had none of the weapons Giorgi has to hurt her with. I’m leaning towards Giorgi here but overs is the call.
Next up is Kenin v Dodin, which is another intriguing contest. Kenin has been far from solid since winning her maiden Grand Slam title in Melbourne, and there were plenty of uncharacteristic errors on show in her last match. But she still managed to score the win against a very impressive Cristian, an while there’s every chance she loses this one to Dodin, it’s hard to imagine either player making easy work of things. Dodin is a real threat on an indoor hard court, and has both form and some much needed rest behind her after receiving a walkover in the previous round. She is definitely capable of capitalising on a slightly shaky Kenin, but I don’t think her game is steady enough to run away with it.
Finally it’s Garcia v Van Uytvank, which again I can’t quite make my mind up on. Garcia has been pretty bad up until this week, but is producing much better stuff here on home soil. I would have picked Van Uytvank in this matchup before the tournament started, but she wasn’t convincing in her last round against Tamova, and if Garcia hits hard and deep to the defensive backhand slice she favors I think she may get undone there. Van Uytvanks ‘coach’ (girlfriend) Minnen lost to Garcia in three sets in the opening round here, which adds another layer of intrigue, as she will surely have some useful insights, and the temptation of getting ‘revenge’ may be just the carrot the Belgian needs.
All in all I’m expecting momentum swings and three setters, but am playing it fairly conservative with the following treble
Kasatkina v Giorgi over 20.5 (1300)
Kenin v Dodin over 19.5
Garcia v Van Uytvank over 20.5
Pays 3.66/1 w Unibet
I will also have a low stakes swing at
Fernandez d Svitolina (Monterrey)
Dodin d Garcia (Lyon)
Patopova d Konta (Monterrey)
Treble pays 23/1
Hi Guys, does anyone keep there own stats over the years of Greg and Scott, would you mind sharing them with me? Was thinking of doing them as a double each time. I’m a stats and figures type of bloke and that would really interest me.
Both are well up on their top singles but doing them as a double isn’t the recommended bet so that’s really up to you.
COPIED & PASTED FROM FLASHSCORES
At home, the hosts have lost their last three league games here, albeit both teams scored in all three. Paderborn were trailing at half-time in all three defeats, just as they have done in eight of their nine home league losses this term, whilst only their two home wins saw them lead at the break.
Cologne have won seven of their last nine league games (L2), with five wins coming ‘to nil’, whilst they also won both halves in the last three victories. In fact, each of their last six games produced over 2.5 goals, as well as goals in both halves.

Afternoon gents,
Rooney helped nail last nights picks for me and he played a part in both the 6/5 and 13/2 bets!
Looking ahead to this evening and there was 3 games that caught my eye; one from Iceland, one from Chile and the final match featuring Cerro Porteno in Paraguay’s top-flight.
The Chilean pick is now postponed so the Nap and Nb hail from Iceland and Paraguay with a Longshot from the English Championship game which I’ll post later:

Evening folks,
I’m going to delve into one of my favourite markets tonight and back each team to take a corner in each half and both teams 10+ booking points in the Alaves v Valencia match at 10/11 with Sky Bet. I’m expecting quite an open encounter between two teams who reguarly feature in goal heavy games and tonight’s referee is averaging over five cards per game.
Good luck with all bets ?
Nottingham Forest to win & Under 2.5 goals @ 16/5 (Paddy Power)
Good luck
Marseille to win
Forest to win & under 2.5 goals
Koln to win & BTTS
Treble @ 21/1 (Betway)

Nottingham Forest DRAW

Paderborn WIN

PADERBORN & SITTARD both games 5+first half match corners double 11/5
Braga v Portimonense
Portimonense might be languishing in the relegation zone whilst Braga battle at the top end of the table but they have only been losing narrowly in recent weeks. Their last 14 league games have seen total goals of 3 or less being scored, including a narrow 1-0 defeat away to Porto. I fancy Braga to win this but goals might be at a premium.
Braga win and under 3.5 goals

Was going to post cover on the Icelandic bet – KR score on ‘2 and ‘4…365 removed KR goals markets so no cover but looking good ?
They ain’t daft, had that a couple of times when I’ve had bets running, very annoying,I will find a strategy to beat that darn bookie
Ouch not me with that post
Australian A league
Tomorrow’s 1st match sees Adelaide take on western United. These 2 met a few weeks back in an absolute belter of a match that finished 4-3 to Adelaide. I reckon we will see more goals again tomorrow and also plenty of other action. I’ve been saying for ages now Adelaide and Perth are the corner kings this year and it has paid off to back with side to notch up 5 or 6 a game minimum. They averaged 7.1 corners a game for the last 10 matches and the way they play with wide attacking midfielders means it’s rare to see them hit less than 5. Im adding this in a betbuilder with a card for western. Without meaning to be too harsh they are quite an old team and don’t really have the legs to get about the pitch and commit quite a lot of fouls. They’ve had a player booked in every single league match this season.
Advised tip
Adelaide dc
Adelaide o1.5tgs
Adelaide o4.5 corners
Western o0.5 cards
13/10 bet 364
Again very close in France ! Only Le Havre 0-0 first half. Damn….
Driving me nuts… Every week 1 game
The whole league 1.5 aswel… Surprise surprise.. Getting boring it is
Getting costly as well lol
Gents, nobody can say that backing those
Two markets is getting costly, they are 40/1+ and 20/1+ for a reason
Don’t expect them to come in – been really unlucky the last few weeks but as far as I’m concerned the league doesn’t owe us anything
It’s given us four 40/1 + winners this season ( could have been 5 or 6)
Totally get it’s frustrating – I’m frustrated as it cost me Hundreds tonight but I also accept that they are such big odds for a reason. Don’t lose the faith, in that league. It’s always worth doing
Did you put 100s on it Greg???
Im not suggesting its costly and your right at those odds its a great bet that shouldnt come in as often.. But i cant help but get miffed when its the standard 1 goal.. Its not the losing.. Its how it happens.. Could be 20 games.. It would still be 1 goal… Could 40 games would still be 1 goal.. At least thats how it feels haha. On the plus side at least there wasnt a missed penalty in the auxerre game because thats a given normally when you lose by a goal
Hoping my daughters birthday brings me luck I’m France tonight with Marseille v Amiens:
Dario Benedetto to score first @ 4/1
Dario Benedetto to be carded @ 16/5
With SkyBet
Red card @ 4/1
Both teams red card @ 66/1
With Paddy Power
Nothing tonight. Rushed this as my original pick would’ve been Payet to score and be carded but I read he was injured. Lesson learned.
My daughters Birthday didn’t bring me luck it cost me a grand lol
