Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me stay in Scotland, and there’s a fixture in League Two that appeals to me for goals.

⚽️ Stenhousemuir vs East Fife

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 League Two

⏰ Saturday 5th November, 15:00

Two clubs separated by just one place and two points in the Scottish League Two table meet at Ochilview Park tomorrow afternoon as fourth-placed Stenhousemuir host third-placed East Fife.

Stenhousemuir were forced to come from behind twice to collect a point away at second-bottom Albion Rovers last time out. After previously winning four of their last five, it’s now three without a win for Stephen Swift’s side, leaving them eight points behind the top two. Stenny have now remarkably not kept a clean sheet in the league since the opening day of the season, conceding 23 goals across their last 11 fixtures. However, Stenhousemuir have found the back of the net in all bar one of their 12 league tussles this season, scoring on 22 occasions.

East Fife defeated Elgin City 2-1 at home last week, making it three wins on the bounce for his side. The Fifers boast the best away record in League Two, with them having collected 14 points from a possible 18 on their travels. Greig McDonald’s visitors are the leading scoring away side in the division, notching 15 goals across their six road trips this season. East Fife have registered only two clean sheets in the league this season, with neither of those coming in their previous eight League Two tussles.

Bet of the Day

Stenhousemuir will look to put an end to their three-match winless run in League Two but face a tough test against an in-form East Fife side that boasts the best away record in the division. Goals are generally a feature of both sides' fixtures this season, and I’m expecting an entertaining encounter between the two at Ochilview Park on Saturday afternoon.

Collectively, Over 2.5 Goals has landed in 20/24 of the pair’s League Two fixtures this season and given each team's records at both ends of the pitch, I’m expecting to see at least three strikes here with both clubs contributing.
