ROD (Punting For Fun) did a little football/rugby double on Thursday and came up trumps.

He took Anderlecht not to lose and St Helen's to win and they absolutely smashed it – so once again his betting bank is looking healthy.

Long-Shot Lee was unlucky with his fourfold – only Adrian Lewis's defeat in the darts prevented him from hitting the jackpot with a 13-1 fourfold.

Rod and Lee are playing to see which type of betting will profit over the course of the month with £50 of betting vouchers going to Rod if he wins – half paid by Lee.

Lee's single or accumulator must be a minimum 10-1 and Punting For Fun's can be as short as he wants but must be odds on.

Tips must be posted every day – if anyone misses out Lee will be deducted one point and Punting For Fun five points.

You know one thing i like about the bank builder is the fact that the wins and losses are in full view along with the current profit or loss.

A small thing but i reckon if everyone took the time to actually keep records of there bets on here on a monthly basis showing wins and losses profit and loss it would be a really good gauge for people to look at.

For example Ian P on here has had an excellent month so far and anyone looking to do something similar would surely be encouraged when looking at his ratios of win loss profit loss etc etc etc.

After all 10 wins 2 losses and 36 points profit in roughly 13 days is as good as it gets on here.

Looking at lee’s bet today and the general consensus has been on here that hibs to beat rangers is a strong bet but he has added the btts as well so 2 things i can hope for is obviously 1 of the teams not scoring but i am hoping more than anything that rangers can finally get a strong result at home as it is long overdue.

But could lee’s long shot bet be about to get a much needed boost for him after 13 days ? could 13 prove to be unlucky for him or me hopefully the latter.

Punting For Fun, Lee’s bet says 2pts – I’m away to finish my Record pages then working on the desk so don’t know if I’ll be able to add your tips to the post but will watch out for them anyway.

Okay Mr F thx again and my bet is an 11.9 treble in case you missed it. So enjoy your shift i take it there will be a chilled bottle of Leffe awaiting your return ;-)

Ok here goes for todays bet which will be an over 1.5 treble.
    1st. 17:30pm Bochum v Braunschweig over 1.5 goals

Bochum’s home games have a 100 % record of being over 1.5 goals

    2nd. 19:00pm De Graafschap v Maastricht over 1.5 goals.

De Graafschap’s home games again provided 100 % over 1.5 at home and Maastricht’s away games has produced 92 % over 1.5 goals.

    3rd. 19:00pm Volendam v Waalwijk over 1.5 goals.

    Volendam’s home games have yielded 83 % over 1.5 and Waalwijk’s away games have yielded 82 % over 1.5.

So based on these stats todays bet is a treble of over 1.5 goals @ 1.80 Ladbrokes.

    Also goals per game average

Bochum has 2.95 goals a game.

Braunschweig has 2.50 goals a game.
    ………………………………
Volendam has 4.13 goals a game.

Waalwijk has 3.25 goals a game.
    ………………………………
De Graafschap has 3.43 goals a game.

Maastricht has 3.04 goals a game.
    ………………………………

    Happy Punting

Mr F just wondering about the times of posts or any admin out there can maybe answer it

I notice the time is shown on the posts when you comment on a thread you see them on the right side of the page but no time is shown when you open that thread to view what is on it ? Not a big issue but I was just wondering is there not a setting in the admim page of the website that can allow you to see the times of the posts when you open a thread to check them out

I always wondered why no times show up on the pages it got me thinking about it again when I put the points on my treble bet after I put the original comment without the points on it but added the points on another comment straight after it just in case you missed it but no time is shown on the comments to prove its posted in time so to speak.

I know it is no big issue but just got me thinking about why the time is not shown on each comment in the thread. I take it the time is shown when you check any comment out on the admin pages ?

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Punting, I see all the times so it’s not a problem from that point of view.

  11. Ian 9 years ago

Lol. It prob will hit. But I think the results of the this show that the way to gamble is your way. Not long shots. Best of luck.
