Borussia Dortmund v SC Freiburg (Saturday 14:30)

Borussia Dortmund will be looking to continue their blistering start to 2020 when they welcome SC Freiburg to the Signal Iduna Park on Saturday afternoon.

Lucien Favre's men have made a stunning start to the second-half of the season having smashed in 28 goals in their last eight outings across all competitions.

Norwegian wonderkid Erling Haalnd has weighed in with a supernatural 12 of those 28 goals and the Scandinavian sensation will be confident of adding to that tally against stuttering SC Freiburg.

Christian Streich's side slipped to ninth in the table last weekend after falling to a 2-0 defeat at home to relegation-threatened Fortuna Dusseldorf – Freiburg's third defeat in their last five league matches.

Indeed, the visitors will take confidence from their 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture back in October, however, the free-scoring Black-Yellows will be a different animal in their own backyard.

With both Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland in red-hot form, I'm going to back Dortmund to overcome a -1.75 handicap at odds of 1.680 with Crown via VOdds – a bet that will deliver profit if Dortmund win the game by two or more goals.

Hoffenheim v Bayern Munich (Saturday 14:30)

Hansi Flick has steadied the ship at Bayern Munich by leading the German giants back to the summit of the Bundesliga.

However, with both RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund hot on their heels, Bayern can ill-afford a slip up when they head to eighth-placed Hoffenheim on Saturday afternoon.

The Bavarians will be brimming with confidence after shredding Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in midweek, however, top-goalscorer Robert Lewandowski limped out of London and he has subsequently been ruled out for a month.

The prolific Pole's absence will provide Hoffenheim with hope of doing the double over Bayern after Alfred Schreuder's side stunned the Allianz Arena with a 2-1 win in the reverse fixture last Autumn.

However, the Munich outfit are much-improved since the last league meeting and even without their top -goalscorer I suspect the visitors will have too much quality for a Hoffenheim side who are winless in four matches.

Flick still has wealth of attacking talent to turn towards and given how fiercely competitive the Bundesliga title race is becoming, I'm going to back Bayern to overcome a -1.25 handicap at odds of 1.810 with Shibo via VOdds –  a bet that will only see you completely out of pocket should Bayern Munich fail to win the match.

RB Leipzig v Bayer Leverkusen (Sunday 14:30)

RB Leipzig have lit up the Bundesliga this season and the Red Bulls will be looking to continue their title charge when they lock horns with Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday afternoon.

Leipzig have banged in 61 goals in 23 Bundesliga matches this season under the stewardship of the young and innovative Julian Naglesmann and the hosts will start the weekend only one point behind league leaders Bayern Munich.

The Red Bull Arena side racked up five goals on the road last Saturday when they smashed five past Schalke and Leipzig were highly-impressive when they triumphed in their recent Champions League tussle with Tottenham.

Indeed, visitors Leverkusen are only six points off the summit following an eye-catching start to the second-half of the season, however, only two sides have stopped free-scoring Leipzig from striking this season.

What's more, given that Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are both motoring, Leipzig can ill-afford a slip up on Sunday afternoon and I fancy Naglesmann's men to see off a Leverkusen outfit who could be leggy after their Europa League exploits on Thursday evening.

Title hopefuls Leipzig have scored two or more goals in 17 of their last 20 matches and with that in mind, I'm going to back the Red Bulls to overcome a -1.00 handicap at odds of 1.781 with Pinnacle via VOdds – taking this approach would only see you completely out of pocket in the event that the hosts fail to collect all three points.
