ENGLAND need to replace Wayne Rooney and Emile Heskey for next week's friendly against France – and the chances of Andy Carroll getting a start are falling by the day.
The Newcastle striker bagged the winner at Arsenal on Sunday to further impress international boss Fabio Capello.
Carroll is 11-10 with Paddy Power to start against the French but my feeling is that Capello make go with the more dependable Kevin Davies in the wake of the bad-boy headlines notched up by the Geordie hero.
You can have 5-1 Carroll scores against France at Wembley on November 17 and as players continue to live up to their reputations for being more interested in scoring off the pitch than on it Manchester City’s huge 36-man squad are the 6-1 favourites with Paddy Power followed by Chelsea and Newcastle at 8-1 to provide the next sex scandal.
