AT first glance Monday can seem like fairly quiet cards but it's quite the opposite, Mondays are full of Reserves and Development matches from England, Belgium and Holland that are laden with goals
My favourite Belgian Reserve side Lommel are in action and they have been a gold mine for us goals punters over the last few months.
Union St Gilloise Res vs Lommel Res (7pm)
You'll do well to find any side in European football that's seen more goals in their matches this season than Lommel.
I call them the goal kings for very good reason – their 17 matches that have yielded an incredible 97 goals (5.7 goals per games). They've scored 40 goals which is the 3rd highest in the league, defensively though they are a shambles with 57 goals conceded which is the worst in the league.
Thirteen of their 17 games have seen over 3.5 goals with 11 of those seeing at least 6 goals which is an unbelievable return.
Their last 6 Monday matches have ended 6-2, 3-3, 2-4, 4-2, 3-6 and they travel to basement side Union St Gilloise who have just 9 points from their 17 games and a negative goal difference of 23.
These sides fought out a 4-4 thriller earlier in the season and we should see both sides get in on the act again tonight.
Recommended Bets
- Over 1.5 first half goals (will appear Monday afternoon)
- Over 3.5 goals (will appear Monday afternoon)
- Over 4.5 goals 13/8 (bet365 Betbuilder)
The bookies incredibly have over 2.5 goals priced at 4/11 and over 4.5 goals on the bet builder at 13/8 – we should get over 3.5 goals at around 10/11 which is a sensational price.
Sadly prices wont come out until later which by that time they'll probably have realised they've priced this up all wrong. Get on the 13/8 on over 4.5 in the meantime.
KV Oostende Res vs Beerschot Res (6.30pm)
There could be a case to back goals in pretty much all of the Belgium Reserves games (all 11 over 2.5 pays 23/1) This looks the best of the rest.
- Over 1.5 first half goals (In-play)
- Over 3.5 match goals (In-play)
Sir Greg can i take lommel for O2.5MGLS just in my accumulator? Lol pal.
Yes mate ??⚽️
Greg, Hibs minus 2 on Sunday currently 11/10 with sky bet. Also to score 3 or more 4/6 with Sky Bet. What’s your thoughts on these or any other bets for this game as I feel these are value?
Both look cracking shouts mate
I’m not a fan of handicap betting but there are 4 divisions between the sides and Hibs will field their strongest 11
Greg and I spoke about Hibs this morning and for me they should be covering the -2 handicap and looking to score even more.
It’s a decent Premiership team against a non-league side with little support.
And even though they were formed as BSC Glasgow the play at Alloa in front of few fans (average gate is reported as 120) so no problem with the pitch and Hibs used to playing on the plastic.
Cheers mate??
I remember a few years ago when Hibs played Bonnyrigg Rose and beat them 7-1, I’m sure prices were similar for that game and remember making a few quid from it. I think these prices will drop quickly by though so going to get on just now
I remember Celtic played East Kilbride away in 2016 and only won 2-0 so it’s not a given.
Lommel failed to score in their last match. Maybe just a bad day at the office…..Just saying….
That match was played on a Friday night mate and should be completely ignored
Wouldn’t touch any Friday night reserve games due to the 1st team playing at the weekend
Hello Greg
Do you still think the over 1.5 first half goals option is going to appear on the bet sites ?
Over 1.5 FHG off to a good start, opener after 6 mins!
Outstanding stuff! 2-0 after 15 mins. Brilliant Greg ??
It appeared on 365 on the Asian lines as -1.5,2 at nearly evens.
And it’s already up ?
4-2 final score…fantastic..cheers Greg
Cheers gents ??
What a club ⚽️
