IT was four out of five on a fairly limited Tuesday card with only Berwick failing to score.
I'd love to go one better tonight and there are many more games to choose from. Unfortunately many of them are continental cup matches and how they go depends on the strength of side put out by the top teams.
Anyway let's start with Fulham v Man United. On paper it looks like United's toughest festive fixture and they haven't won at Craven Cottage on their last three visits.
I think they'll reverse the trend tonight but I'm not sure about their prospects of keeping a clean sheet. Fulham have netted seven in their last three home clashes with Sir Alex Ferguson's side and in fact five of the last six have produced over 2.5 goals.
United will be confident with Wayne Rooney in the goals again and back-to-back wins achieved since crashing out of the Champions League but I think they'll concede.
Of the other top-flight games no to both teams to score looks more likely at Aston Villa, Everton and Wigan. I can't see Stoke taking anything from Man City but they could score while QPR v Sunderland has the look of a low-scoring draw.
So I'm moving away from the Premier League for my second choice which is the top-of-the-table Serie A showdown between Udinese and Juventus.
Udinese have been magnificent at home, winning seven out of seven in the league, scoring 14 goals. Juve are unbeaten away but have netted just nine times in seven games.
However, their last two have been 1-1 at Parma and 3-3 at Napoli and this has the feel of another score draw.
Next consider Napoli v Genoa. Napoli's ground has seen as many Serie A goals this season as any another with 25 in eight games and they haven't kept a clean sheet in their last five, conceding 10 goals.
They sit sixth, level on points with Genoa, and this should be another closely-fought affair. Genoa have scored eight in seven on the road, winning two, and I expect them to net at least once tonight.
Let's to head to the German Cup and Hertha Berlin v Kaiserslautern. It was 1-1 when the sides met in the league earlier this month and Kaiserlautern have notched that scoreline in four of their last six matches.
Hertha's last six have seen both teams to score so go for No.7 and if you fancy a correct score bet then 1-1 wouldn't be the daftest.
Finally, go for the Malaga v Getafe Spanish Cup second-leg tie. Getafe lost 1-0 at home but will need to attack to have any chance of progressing.
It was 3-2 to Malaga when the sides clashed in the league at the start of the season and a repeat would be welcome.
Malaga have conceded in five of their last six games while Getafe won 2-1 at Mallorca at the weekend to boost their spirit.
