I TOOK a chance on goals in the Sporting Portuguese Cup tie without seeing team news and landed lucky.
The over 3.5 goals tip came in easily as they ran out 5-1 winners.
On a quiet night plenty of people posted winners and well done to radu on his superb write-up and tips on the Astra-Dinamo Bucharest game.
There are some big games tonight including Kilmarnock v Celtic, Brighton v Aston Villa, Bayer Leverkusen v RB Leipzig, Lorient v Monaco, Lille v Lyon and Chaves v Porto.
And there is another round of Jupiler League games which are usually goal-laden and Greg could post French Ligue 2 tips.
I've posted a separate preview of the Celtic game and while they should win well boss Brendan Rodgers is moaning about the timing of the game having had 14 players away on international duty.
Some of those such as far-flung travellers Tom Rogic and Emilio Izaguirre are unlikely to start but Moussa Dembele will and after taking his tally to 20 for the season with a double for France Under-21s against England I'm on him to net again for at least one Super Single.
Ive picked out a treble and may add a goals bet if I get time to do a bit of research after finishing off my Daily Record column for Saturday.
The treble starts with Monaco at Lorient. Monaco were in good form before the break with three wins out of four and 16 goals scored while Lorient sit at the foot of the table and while all seven of their points have been taken at home they've lost their last two to the side from the Prinicpality.
Add RB Leipzig not to lose at Bayer Leverkusen. Promoted Leipzig remain unbeaten after a super start to their debut Bundesliga season and while this will be a test I can see them taking at least a point.
I'm tempted by high-flying Brighton at home but have decided to go Brighton draw no bet simply because Aston Villa have improved under Steve Bruce and have become hard to beat.

I agree both influential players. Some sites are saying Coutinho’s a major doubt with Lallana being 50/50, others saying Lallana is out and Coutinho may not be risked. So there’s a bit of inconsistency there. Even if both are missing as you say it will be a great opportunity for Sturridge to stake his claims. I’m pretty sure Mane will be a key influence against his former club as well.
Klopp has played down expectations of his team being the same team that put 6 past Watford and 4 past Palace and rightfully so with half the squad travelling around the world to play in internationals. Clever management by a talented bloke. As Klopp is such an intelligent bloke I’m pretty sure he has realised he is going to need 2 or 3 goals to win this one due to Liverpool’s inability to keep clean sheets.
Coutihno is defo not playing even if he was fit he would not be playing tommorrow,lallana also ruled out.The thing is though liverpool do have depth in the squad to cover for these players but i do think liverpool would certainly be happy with a 1 or two nil but like you say its the clean sheet thing but then again when playing these teams klopp knows how to set the team up he did when we played the mancs.

Friday night usually sees a couple of contenders for the Night Owl over in SA and tonight is no different.
In the end I’ve swerved Paraguay and a poorly River Plate outfit and sided with a Chilean match-up that offers a little more in the way of consistency and potential value…

I’ve a soft spot for Colo – they were one of the first sides I used to bet on when I began playing with the South American markets and they owe me nothing.
Fortune hasn’t been their friend this season though and although they start hard favourites, you have to acknowledge the fact they can’t keep a clean sheet – in only 2 of their last 15 games have they managed to shut out the opposition.
They have always known how to score though and even in this poor campaign they have scored 2 or more team goals…prices are too skinny for me and you’ll get just 4/5 for 3 Colo goals…no thanks.
Instead, keep the home goals on-side and gamble they’ll concede at some point in the 90!
