WEEK six of the NFL kicks off with a Thursday night match-up that sees Denver Broncos look to continue their impressive start to the season at San Diego Chargers.
Broncos have won three of their four games so far and are 5-8 at Marathonbet to rack up another victory with the hosts 6-4 underdogs at Coral.
Jordan is looking ahead to the Sunday card and his first bets for the weekend action are as follows:

Good shout on the points mate.
Thanks mate and you too! I’ve never considered looking at points range bets; are they something you’ve had a lot of success with?
Not bad actually. Only used them a few times when number of points h2h has been consistent. Might look into them more often.

Mitre 10 Cup
Taranaki v Auckland (7.35am)
As the spread and ML prices suggest, this is a trcky one to call so won’t be dabbling in either of those markets. As much as it should be a close game with Taranaki possibly edging it, both teams like to score. The total points under/over is set at 60 so won’t be going near that as the game could easily be 10 points or more either side. The value bet looks like total range 3-way. 4/5 have fallen into this range.
Total points range 52-72 2.05 @ bet365

☆☆☆WINNER☆☆☆
37-32 to Taranaki.
Back tonight for what should be a very interesting game between the Broncos and the Chargers. With 4-1/1-4 records this makes for a straightforward win on paper but it is far from it.
The Chargers although 1-4 have been very unlucky, throwing away three leads in the 4th quarter and they haven’t had any problems putting up points with Benjamin and Williams being Rivers favourite targets.
The Broncos are sweating on the fitness of Trevor Siemian but he is expected to play according to multiple reports. Paxton Lynch stepped in last week and didn’t fill anybody watching with any sort of confidence, he still looks a fair way away from being an everyday starter.
For me here’s how it goes tonight.
1) Siemian starts, gets Denvers offense back in full swing and silences whatever doubters he has left.
2) Denvers defense get back on top after a day out against a dominant Falcons (Julio Jones was kept quiet but Coleman and Freeman combined for 286 total yards (167 receiving, 119 rushing) and two touchdowns.
3) For the first time this season SD put up less than 20 points.
All that being said i’ll keep things relatively simple for my bets.
Denver Broncos by 1-10 points 7/5
Emmanuel Sanders anytime and Denver to win 23/10
Denver -2.5 & Over 38.5 points in the game 5/4 *NAP*
Not much interest in tonight’s NFL game. Have requested a bet for interest on Skybet but the odds are shocking.
Joey Bosa & Von Miller Both to record a sack @ 4/9…
No thanks. Good luck with your punts gents.
Harlequins v Stade Francais (Rugby U, 7:45)
I’m going on:
Harlequins Over 2.5 Team Tries @1.66
Harlequins -9 handicap @evens (smaller stakes)

*2 WINS*
Harlequins v Stade Francais
Was looking at the -9 spread as well @williams1993. Has moved out from -7.5. Stade have had a fairly week start to the French season but Harlequins have Care, Evans and Sinckler out. Stade are poor away not winning in 14 attempts including a 30 point dicking from Leicester.
Also on a tentative -9 spread!!

Looking promising! Great fun rugby by Quins. 31-7; think it’s too much for SF to come back now.
Agreed. Would be very surprised to see Stade bring this back. Shouldn’t have been so tentative!!
Mitre 10 Cup
Manawatu v Otago (7.35am tomorrow)
Otago are top of the league and assured a play off place and resting players for next week. Manawatu are a bit up and down beating teams in the league above but losing to teams below them in their own league. With a strong back line and loose forwards and Otago resting some key players I can see Manawatu winning at home.
Manawatu -3 point spread 1.90 @ bet365
