Morning Guys, Its your main man Max here, and it is week 2 so lets see if we cant land a few winners shall we?
I didnt think the Jets game on Thursday would be a Unders game as the line was set so low and with the NFL a QB driven league and an advocate of points being scored hence the rule change, I didnt fancy anything to tip. This evening the game I am looking forward too is the NYG v Saints, it could be a blockbuster. Manning JR v Brees, Beckham JR v Cooks and two bad Defences with key personal missing. These games tend to be high scoring and I am hoping tonight is no different.
Cooks caught SIX passes last week and scored two 2tds and is 11/8 Skybet to score and his Yds is almost half what he got last week, set at 74.5yds 10/11 Skybet. Odell Beckham Jr is a stud and while most firms take him to go O100yds which I think he will, I am taking him to go over 92.5yds at Paddy Power.
Saints at the Giants Tips
Beckham O92.5yds 5/6
Cooks O74.5yds 10/11
Cooks to score 11/8
The late game I will be watching wont be Seattle v La, it will be another potential shoot out between the Jags and the Chargers. I think the Jags could cause an upset here at 7/5. T J Yeldon delivered for me last week and to score he is 5/4 Bwin. Another player I like to score is Tyrell Willams at 11/4 Skybet, without Allen, he could get more looks his way. Jags O19.5pts doubled with NYG O24.5pts pays 11/10 Skybet and Jags O22.5pts pays 5/6 at Bet365 and Skybet and I will take this a single.
T J Yeldon to score 5/4
Williams to score 11/4
Jaguars O22.5PTS 5/6
NYG O24.5PTS
JAGS O19.5PTS
(11/10 Skybet)
Like the Williams pick Max but I’ve heard Inman is starting over him. Not sure of his price though. Yeldon another good bet. Good luck.
Scunthorpe could only manage one goal yesterday so 2pts lost
Sunday Rugby League
Widnes v St Helens 3pm
ST HELENS -23.5pts 3/1 paddy power
ST HELENS over 35.5pts 13/8 paddy power

You the man Jordan (-:
My Beloved GIANTS
The Giants and Saints have met four times in the Eli and Brees era,
The points for these games have been 75, 73, 79 and 101
BUT
Big Blue have finally sorted out their defence which has hindered them the last few years, last week against Dallas it was a much improved performance and their trading seems to have paid off with Jerry Reese’s $200 million offseason haul, Olivier Vernon, Damon Harrison and Janoris Jenkins, all looked strong in Week 1, limiting Ezekiel Elliott to only 2.6 yards per carry.
Last season the Saints won 52-49 and since 2009 the winning team has scored at least 48pts and although this should be another high scoring match the Giants D should be able to stop Drew Brees enough times to win and the Giants should be the only team that can get close to the 50 point mark,
Last week the Saints really missed Delvin Breaux when he went off injured and they will miss him this week as the Saints cornerbacks struggle against the Giants wide receivers of Cruz, Beckham and Rookie Sterling Shepherd,
Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz with his first game in 700 days caught the game winning touchdown and is ready for his big Homecoming back at the MetLife Stadium,
Let the Salsa begin.
One match up that looks crucial is
Jenkins v Cooks
Last week, Janoris Jenkins did a great job to limit Dallas wide receiver Dez Bryant to one catch for eight yards,
He now has the challenge of doing the same with Saints Brandin Cooks, who had six receptions for 143 yards and two touchdowns last week.
Drew Brees is good and is a future hall of famer but his stats are not as good on the road and this week I expect to see him on his backside a lot in a game that the Giants could score anything between 34 points to 50 points to go 2-0 for the first time since 2009
GO BIG BLUE
Tennis Davis Cup
Great Britain v Argentina
GREAT BRITAIN to win 4/1 skybet
All bookies have Kyle Edmund playing the final match if Murray wins but I think Dan Evans will play and win
I think Evans should play and hopefully does
Officially it’s down as Edmund v Del Potro but we all know Evans will play.
Also there are suggestions Del Potro is going to be pull out exhausted.
That would be incredible if that happened.
Hoping Del Potro does play as it gives a better price on Evans but if Del Potro is out then the 4/1 Britain looks even better
All ml Oakland Arizona Detroit new York giants 3/1 coral 2 pt .
Hope my main man lee posts always value his opinion .?
Cheers for the post Mr F.

I am avoiding the Lions and Broncos like the plague. They may well both win given that they are fairly large favourites.
Just feel that Andrew Luck and the Colts are picking up somewhat. More so, I feel the Titans can slow the game with their runners and keep Detriot off the field. We shall see.
Stick to the tips Jack. No need for this post when others are putting faith in teams you’ve mentioned. I could come back and say the Broncos beat the Super Bowl finalists with a rookie QB last week and now play at home again. Luck will get hit all afternoon with their bad o-line. As for the Lions, they are one of the best teams over this season and the next. Titans are a very young team and it showed last week. Home field advantage and all that jazz. Good luck mate.
That should be and last season (for the Lions).
Johnb’s 4-1 GB to win Davis Cup looks good.
No Del Potro after all – Evans v Mayer decider.
Apologies mate, just giving my opinion. Don’t have bets on either game as such so by all means I hope the Lions win, as long as its by 10 points or less!
Don’t think you need to apologise jackcfc for just giving an opinion,
Opinions should always be welcome whether people agree or not and Jordan should accept that
Cheers, hope Evans pulls through for you.

Jordan or lee your teams playing any thoughts I think the Vikings defence will keep then in the game in what could be a real close one .
Didn’t have any bets for the early tv game tonight until seeing Dalton’s pass yards line. Steelers should win here and I agree with Johns points total. However it won’ be a walkover. The Steelers had one of the worst secondaries last season and still didn’t improve too much in their opening game. Kirk Cousins was shocking in Washington but still threw for 329 yards. Who knows what an elite QB can do. Dalton by no means elite, but he still threw for 366 yards in New York against a very mean Jets defense. If Pitt get a big lead its time to abandon the run game and air it out for the red rifle to the likes of AJ Green and LaFell.
Andy Dalton (Cincinnati Bengals) Over 258.5 Passing Yards @ 5/6 @ PP – 3.6 points
For the later game I’m going with a TD scorer for Green Bay in Minnesota. Xavier Rhodes is still out for the Vikes so second year player Trae Waynes will get to cover Jordy Nelson in his second start of his career. It took some time for Nelson to get into the game in Jacksonville last week, but after a few completions, Rodgers went to him three times in a row for the TD. Nelson has more TD’s against the Vikes than any other team.
Jordy Nelson (Green Bay Packers) Anytime TD @ 5/4 @ Various – 2 points
@nflfan green Bay probably going to be too strong for us. This game was pick em when spreads came out green Bay favorite now partly cos as Jordan mentioned Rhodes is out bit in Zimmer press conference he has confirmed shariff Floyd is out too so that will be big blow. Vikes are at home which I normally look at being a 3 pt advantage but it’s first game in new stadium tonight so its new for everyone. Only hope we have is that he starts bradford and he turns game into bit of a shoot out. Without going into last week’s qb debate Rodgers is better than mariota so our D won’t win it for us they can keep us in it and shut lacy down but needs bradford to come in and play.
I am on call at work so I won’t be on here win or lose tonight am going tape game and watch it Monday night so will be trying avoid score. I won’t be betting but if I was a neutral I’d say green Bay are the stronger team this year so could win a shoot out 31-28
Big one tonight mate. Is it wrong that I want to see the purple light show after a TD? I’ll take the 31-28 win mate. We have Sam Shields out so both number 1 corners missing.
Thx lads gl ?
