ANDY MURRAY is a goner at the US open and Novak Djokovic looks set to continue his procession to the final today.
The top seed has only played two full matches on his cruise to the semis due to opponents' withdrawals and now faces Gael Monfils, who has beaten the Serb just once in 13 attempts.
Djokovic is huge favourite at 1-6 with Paddy Power to make the final and 21-20 at Marathonbet to win in straight sets while a Monfils success pays 28-5 at Marathonbet.

Hey guys your main man Max here. I am going to start tipping on the NFL :-)
This thread was immensely popular a couple a years ago reading back through old threads over 200 posts regularly on Sundays. There was plenty of chat between many fans and none were trolls.
I am by no means a expert but are any of us on a sport from across the pond? It was fascinating reading post from seasons gone by and what markets to make money on, (apart from novelty bets). I watched the NFL back in the 90s and been a casual observer since. I got into it more in the last 3-5yrs watching Super Sunday and then followed by the NFL.
I hope I can bring my success on the football thread to this thread and as always my aim is to make people money.
Max
I think we should let bygones be bygones, Max, especially if you’re going to bet on the NFL. I have to admit, you have certainly put up some good tips recently. You obviously had a problem with me on here and it was clearly the popularity issue, but I’m hoping you can get over that and come to realise that when this thread gets going over the next few months, it’s probably the best couple of months for betting (in my experience anyway). Don’t need any sh*t between us when we’re both trying to beat the bookies and assist users doing it. What you saying?
My point of view is I am a contributor Jordan, and while you appear to mean well in your post about bygones being bygones, you have still seem to have a underlining problem with me with the comment.
laydees – handbags away – we’re all on the same side here are we not?
Sir Jordan, who will you tip to win tonight’s NFL curtain raiser?
Another NFL season starts and it will probably be the same old boring story that happens every year “another season in profit”
I have been watching American Football for nearly as long as I have been watching football or horse racing, nearly 35 years now, oh how time flies.
Super Bowl Winners
Jacksonville Jaguars
As one of the teams that have never won the Super Bowl Jacksonville are a lot stronger than last season, which wouldn’t be hard with their 5-11 record
They have what I regard as one of the top offences,
Blake Bortles in his second season recorded 35 touchdowns and he is another year more experienced now
Bortles does make mistakes and will need to tidy up his game but the ability is clearly there
On defence I expect Myles Jack and Jalen Ramsey to make a big impact.
My only concern is this Jacksonville team are young and with young you get inexperienced, as Alan Hanson famously said about Man Utd “you can’t win anything with kids” and we all know what happened,
Last season the Jags were dealt a cruel blow with injuries which is why the bookies have overlooked them this season, they start the season at home to Green Bay which is alway a difficult start but it should be close and a defeat wouldn’t ruin their season but at 2/1 the Jags do have a chance.
Super Bowl Champions?
they have a chance of the inexperienced young players step up
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS to win Super Bowl 50/1 paddy power
Pittsburgh Steelers
Last season Pittsburgh were let down by defensive injuries to Cortez Allen and Senquez Golson
Last season the steelers were set a target of 30pts per game which they just failed but again injuries wouldn’t have helped,
With an array of talent at wide receiver and tight end they also have one of the best running backs in the game in Le’Veon Bell and quarter back Ben Roethlisberger,
They have strengthened were they needed to and after last seasons injuries were still one of the top offences but this could be their year and they are an absolute banker to win the AFC North
PITTSBURGH STEELERS to win AFC North 13/10 NAP/NB paddy power double stake (banker of all bankers this one)
PITTSBURGH STEELERS to win AFC Championship 5/1 ladbrokes paddy power
PITTSBURGH STEELERS to win Super Bowl 11/1 ladbrokes paddy power william hill
PITTSBURGH STEELERS over 437 season points 11/10 bet365
Will depend a lot on Big Ben staying fit which I’m not so sure over the season!!
Agree with Jags though!!!
Cardinals my Super Bowl punt @ 40/1 and nfc west to produce the winner @ 15/4
Interesting at 50/1 a team to not win a game especially with the Bears and Rams looking extremely poor!
Just to say that anyone who backs the banker thinking it will win, when JohnB says it’s a banker it doesn’t go how it should

Max, I edited your post for your benefit.
You obviously don’t see how ridiculous some of your comments are such as “I’ve got exciting news – I’m going to do NFL tips.”
It’s only exciting news to you – no one else. Especially when you then say you are by no means an expert.
Try to keep it real – and stop some of the comments that will get you a negative reaction.

I have searched and can’t find anything except for the weekends matches.
cheers
The outrights are under “futures” at the bottom of the page
Many thanks Johnb, couldn’t see it for looking at it.
Jordan. Looking forward to following your tips again in the NFL season. Fancy your packers to go all the way this year. Hopefully the jets can go well again this time out. How do you see the game tonight panning out ?

Alright gents. Hope you’re ready for another NFL season. For those that have asked I’m not interested in who’s going to win tonight. With Denver’s QB situation I’d be surprised if they do win, but this is the NFL. I’ve put up the Green yards in good faith they’ll be trailing and have to pass the ball whether it’s Siemian, Lynch or Manning coming out of retirement (ok that last one is a long shot). I am interested in seeing Carolina’s secondary who lost Josh Norman and will start with a few rookies if I’m correct. A few markets I was interested in I’ll post below but nothing enough for me to bet this early.
Over 5.5 Sacks @ 81/100 @ 888Sport
Luke Kuechly (Carolina Panthers) Over 9.5 Tackles & Assists @ 20/23 @ 365
Good luck if you’re having a bet. Still waiting for props over the weekends games. Should be some tomorrow.
Been waiting for the NFL to return for months… Happy days.
Early days and I’d prefer a few weeks stats to base things on.
Like the below but wouldn’t throw masses on it.
Newton over 232.5 passing yrds 10/13 bet365
Newton over 30.5 rushing yards 8/11 Skybet
Got this offer from Ladbrokes – Simply place a bet of £20+ (or £10+ EW) on any outright Superbowl winner and we’ll credit your account with a £5 Free Bet each time your pick wins.
Now to pick my team – was thinking Packers or Panthers?
Any thoughts?
Out of the 2 mate go for green Bay they look strong this year and will probably win 11 games so easily cover your stake in free bets. Good luck
Evening guys welcome to the must see thread over the next few months, if the last few years are anything to go by its been a positive profitable thread over the last few years. Nflfan thank you for the mention there have been many great NFL tipsters on here over the years some no longer with us (DE andre and for the life of me I can’t think of the other dudes name) but it is always a good thread full of knowledge. On to tonight’s game I picked all my spread bets last night really fancy the chargers and Tampa with the starts this week am going put them on tonight as odds will go. In terms of tonight’s game am not going go daft as its early season and I want see how things pan but I expect a tight low scoring game with Denver coming out on top and with no Josh Norman to cover demariyus Thomas am taking him to score but going double them up to increase risk but get bigger prices so
Demariyus Thomas wincast 4/1
Denver win and under 42 pts 2/1
Keep me informed Jordan as ill be sleep come kick off
Hello guys gonna give this four fold MLB and NFL a go.
Denver plus 3.0
Texas over 8.5 runs
Pit Pirates Ml
NY Yankees ml
Pays 9.17/1 bet 365
Good luck lets hope it rolls in like yesterdays Treble!!!!
Gameday.
It’s the start of the new season and I would be cautious with any bets placed on this game. Forgetting the Superbowl as both teams have had some big changes, tonight I’m having a small bet on Denvers WR.
The concern for this is new QB Siemian as he starts his first NFL game tonight, the plus side is Denver have 2 very good wide receivers and they are going up against the Panthers 2 rookie cornerbacks who also are starting their first every NFL game. I could’ve gone with either DT or ES but I like ES line more.
Small stakes on – Emmanuel Sanders O55.5 Receiving Yards @ 10/11 WH / SJ
OK lets do this!!!!!!
Morning guys it is your main man Max here. Lets get this once great, vibrant thread back to where it once was. A superbowl re-match tonight in which should be a good game. The league MVP vs a Rookie QB, I know who I like. The Carolina roster hasn’t had as much upheaval as their host and in what could be a close game I fancy the way to go here is Carolina O1.5fg at 4/5 Bet365. Offensive are still getting used to each other as preseason games often don’t see many starters playing more than a few snaps, Field goals are my main markets this season, and they should be yours :-)
Carolina O1.5fgs 4/5 Bet365
GL
That’s a better post. Modesty is the key – good luck with the bet.
