May 22: Killie v Falkirk Betting Preview

THE final match of the Scottish season takes place on Sunday with Kilmarnock trailing Falkirk 1-0 from the first leg of their Premiership play-off final.

After the drama of Saturday's Scottish Cup Final that saw Hibs salvage something from a potentially horrible campaign what can we expect at Rugby Park?

I tipped goals in the first leg and got that wrong but I also tipped the Bairns from promotion and they are now 4-9 at Ladbrokes with Killie 13-8 at Betfred.

It’s a precarious lead and Killie were the better team on Thursday but you can’t rule out never-say-die Bairns. In fact if you followed Greg Browning's goals tips you will know Falkirk have scored an injury-time goal in seven of their last 10 games which is an extraordinary stat.

They netted late in both legs of their semi-final against Hibs and again last week. So watch out for the inplay markets appear and consider backing a Killie after 70-odd minutes at around evens.

Temitope Obadeyi and Josh Magennis made Falkirk's defence work hard but Irish ace is Magennis is a doubt so Kris Boyd could be the man Killie rely on for a goal and the veteran striker is 7-4 at McBookie to net at any time.

I'm standing by Falkirk to qualify as their name seems to be on promotion but it could be another cracker with plenty of goals. Both to score pays 3-4 at McBookie.

Killie lost 11 home games in the Premiership and struggle to perform in front of their own fans so Falkirk draw no bet is my call at 23-20 with McBookie.
